really difficult to pump! i've read all the comments but still struggling. i've been back to the Doc twice and they have no issues inflating. I have a very strong grip but must doing doing something wrong.

Also it feels like it's 1/2 or more erect ALL the time. very uncomfortable to sit for a long time and walking around pitching a tent is also not fun.

i can feel the button press but have not had the sensation of feeling saline drain as some here have described. tips? tricks? thanks

hold the deflate button down for at least a count to "5" and that should lock it into the deflate mode. Then, grasp the shaft of your penis with one hand and gently squeeze the shaft. This will help to deflate the implant tubes which will help to ease down the sensation of being half-erect

Try pumping in a warm bath. Hold the pump with one hand just above the neck and squeeze the pump ball slowly but powerfully with your dominant hand

I also have an AMS 700MS. I am so glad to have it.
I'm 40 yrs old, workout and am fit. Other than the first few pumps, I use a "Fingertips in opposite palm" two hand pumping.
I pump about 20 times, then let it rest for a half hour to adjust, then pump another 20 times for "intended use." Usually I fall asleep rigid and wake up around 3 in the morning with discomfort and let it down a little.
If I did 40 pumps all at once, I would be sore in the tip.
I hold down the button throughout deflation.

I,
are you saying you pump up total of 40 times in a span of 30 minutes before use? Could you pump up 20-30 and have good sex at this point? Is the IPP not for spontanious use, or is it just early for that in your situation?

My doc told me to hold the deflate button for 5 or more seconds and squeeze the penis at the same time. I always do that and it works for me. I always feel a buzzing sensation when deflating. When the buzzing stops I know I am done. There may be some differences in your experience so if you get a full deflate without the buzzing, I wouldn't worry about it.

Regarding the pumping, did you pump yourself with your doc or his assistant watching? If not and you are still having problems I would go back and have one of them watch while you pump until you get a successful pump. Watching them pump is not as useful as having them watch you pump so they observe how you are doing it. Whatever is going wrong, by having them watch you until you get a successful pump should solve the problem. Probably once you get one successful pump you will be able to do it fine from then on.

How many pumps is needed seems to vary depending on the size of the cylinders, which is dependent on the size of the penis, and whether you have an AMX LGX or CX. I have a CX and after 10 squeezes I am good to go. So it is very spontaneous in my case.

Dave, I don't ever hear a "buzz" I waited to inflate with my Doctor and have been back once since then due to my inability to pump it. I have had some success pumping and it seems to be getting more comfortable. I do not hear a "pop" on the first pump and no buzz on the deflate although I can feel the button being depressed.

I hardly ever feel the pop on the first pump. Others post they always get that. There seems to be differences in the pump's action. If you can get it to pump up adequately I wouldn't worry about the different pump actions. I sounds like you might be onto how to work the pump now so hopefully you are on the downhill to success.
