Hello
just a little background, 30yrs old just got the ams lgx implanted July of this year. Since then doctor kept me deflated and said it was safe to inflate in October because I was healing very slowly.

I am very disappointed, there is ALOT of pain when I inflate, at first there was a sharp shooting pain in the pelvic area on the right side, its still there but the main thing that concerns me is that only one side of the cylinder is straightening out. The left side still has a little kink at the base.
According to the doc its because I am not pumping enough, but the pain is so unbearable-he says it will get better and its because im a slow healer

Then there is the size issue
prior to the implant I was 5.75 and had a girth of about 5.25 base.
Now when pumped to the max(at least for me) im at a very thin 4.75. Doctor told me that this is as big as I will get and that I was "big enough to have a child" ....what a joke.

Has anyone here had a similar experience? am I freaking out?

thanks!

From what I have read here the healing time varies greatly. But you do seem to be on the long side of the bell curve for healing. Your doc is the best judge of whether that is just slow healing or indicates a medical problem.

Regarding the "kink in the left side", I have an AMS CX and I feel something on the left side where the tube from the pump attaches to the cylinders. That tube comes up the left side and attaches on the left. I suspect that what you feel as a kink is actually the place where the tube attaches.

I am guessing at how the LGX would feel on inflation but I think you should be able to feel the end of the cylinders protruding into the head about the same on both sides. If the left side is not protruding into the head as much you might have some scar tissue that is blocking it and it will eventually get past that when you are able to pump more.

Regarding the size, a woman's G-spot is about 1.5 to 3 inches inside her vagina. So you only need to be able to penetrate 3 inches to provide her satisfaction. It seems you have that. Men are very focused on size. Women are much more focused on the emotional connection during sex. You have adequate size so just concentrate on the emotional connection and you will please your female partner. If you are engaging in gay sex the size issue might be different.

Hang in there. It seems you are taking longer to heal but you will get there before long.
