Regain sensitivity after implant surgery

Guys,

It's been a couple of months since I've posted here. I had an AMS MS700LGX implanted July 9 and then needed a second surgery on August 6 to remove the implant, flush my penis and scrotum with five different flushes to get rid of a deep tissue bacterial infection in the right cavernosa space. A new 700LGX was implanted during the second surgery. After 4 weeks of antibiotic infusion therapy through a picc line into my heart, I am finally considered cleared of any infection.

During the second surgery, my surgeon inflated my prosthesis to about 4-3/4" and I stayed in the hospital for 4 days inflated to that size. Upon release he deflated the unit and asked me not to inflate until he gave the "GO AHEAD" which would be after home antibiotic infusion therapy was over. Since then I have been able to "stretch" my penis through inflation so I now am 5-3/4" using only 12 pumps and can get to 6" with 20 pumps, the last five being very hard to squeeze.

My urologist is also treating my low testerone with axiron and will begin using androgel 1.62%. I now have the sex drive and desire that I remember having when I was 25 years old.

Now to my problem: I have very limited sensitivity in my glans (head) of my penis. Although my wife enjoys my being able to have intercourse for 40 minutes or more, it is disappointing for both of us because I cannot have an orgasm and ejaculate. I thought that at 6 months after surgery, the sensation would have returned.

Has anyone else dealt with this issue? Any suggestions?

Bob

I didn't have that problem but before my surgery I asked my doc if it might happen and he said in a few cases he has seen it happen and in some of those using Viagra helped. You might ask your doc about that.

Also I wonder if all those antibiotics might have caused some side effects. Maybe they will wear off after awhile. I am just guessing but that would be another thing to ask your doc about. The docs are there to help you so don't be hesitant to go see him about the problem.

I am now about a year & a half post coloplast titan implant & still experience pain on the tip of my uncut foreskin causing me to have a delay of 1 hour to 1.5 hours bgefore I am able to orgasm. Any advice is appreciated. My surgeon wants to do a Distal Penoplasty but i'm hesitant because I probably will have to wait a lot of time before trying to orgasm again. HELP

Holy Moley able to have sex for 40 minutes thats almost impossible to believe.

I haven't inflated mine yet but I seem to more sensitive on the head than before.

Patience is not one of my finer point but i have no doubt that I wont make it 40 mins to completion.

I do like the idea of being the energizer bunny keep on going kinda guy tho.

My Dr seems to be very cautious as it will be 8 weeks post op before we pump it up.

I may experiment early.

I had my implant in December 2013 in baltimore and it took just about a year to regain full sensitivity. In other words I'm just getting there. Have had long sex due to the lack of sensation. I asked the Dr. head told me that if you didn't focus on your dick and focus on the act you should be ok. My words as I thought was what he was saying. It still took me about a year to get that normal feeling.

I have not had any real problems but do find it more difficult to have an orgasm if I have over-inflated. 3/4 of the maximum seems to work best for me.

I am 7 months post op and am having no luck in acheiving an orgasm in 2 trys with my new girlfriend. Am also in a funk over placing my demented wife in a home. What do you suggest? Less than full inflation? Lube? Really starting to stress out about this too. :(

I am seven months post surgery. I don't have any problem with sensitivity. Have no problems with orgasm via oral sex, but not having any luck so far at intercourse.
