does everyone have to try pills, then VED, then injections?

Hey all, it makes sense that doctors would want to try every alternative before giving you the implant. However I would really rather not live with having to use a pump or give myself a shot in the dick every single time before sex. The implant seems a lot better than those options. So do you HAVE to try those options before you are allowed to get implanted?

Same here. I declined trying the shots and got the implant.

same here, discussed my situation with the doctor and bypassed all other unacceptable options,
as the implant is the best one.

Had my surgery 6 days ago, never really had major pain, swelling is now also gone.
It feels like nothing ever was done "down south".

Medicare normally does pay for the procedure, although there might be
some new rules since last September, the date when they publish new guidelines.
Secretary of my doctor checked also with Anthem, my supplement and stated that they would
cover it as well.

Mee too. I tried pills for years with success at first then no response. I turned down the pump as I had no interest in it. I tried injections in the doctor's office only to tell him to shove the needle up his &(*%. I ended up with the implant and I am very happy so far. Its your body. Your life to live. Go for it!!!!

Possibly your doctor is billing your insurance instead of billing medicare .
