For you who used VED before surgery, how are the similarities.....size, feel, etc? Can one really get an idea of what the device will net them? I am speaking of those who are not correcting injury, Peyronies, etc, just those who can not hold an erection long enough for pleasure.
thanks.

I ended up slightly longer, maybe 1/8, inch than my VED size. Girth is probably within 1/8, but maybe less. I think most docs will tell you that you can get more blood flow into the glans and the spongiosum with a VED than you can naturally, even if you're completely healthy without ED. Guys with ED and implants get different degrees of engorgement of the glans and spongiousum. Some little or none, and some pretty much normal. Several surgeons I visited told me I should be able to get everything, sizewise, I got with the VED, LESS the engorgement and related size from glans and spongiosum. Some docs will tell you that you will never get your VED size and not to pay any attention to it. Others will tell you what I heard. I think I'm somewhat unusual to have ended up fractionally longer than my VED size. I get some engorgement of the glans and spongiousum, but not as much as I think I would get if I were healthy.

Hi Billy:
I'm not sure yet about the length (still working on getting it back) but the girth is much larger than before I began. I luckily pumped everyday for months before my surgery - no regrets...

Thanks guys....very encouraging. I am small but have "got by" for lots of years. Now age, PE, TURP, etc has just caught up with me and although I can get erection it is totally undependable. IPP is scheduled for March 11th at UT-SW in Dallas. I pumped routinely starting in late July, and have to admit really liked what I saw and felt. When I finally saw the scheduled surgeon in December I mentioned the use of VED and asked was that good. He OKed the use but I did not feel he was overly enthused, believing more that one gets only what he can get when surgery time comes....of course, my belief is that any stretch I can gain may add to my "package". There is probably truth to both views. AMS-LGX was my anticipated device, but although surgeon uses AMS, he suggested the Coloplast Titan for my particular case. I somewhat question his choice, but I do not want to argue it, his reputation is great and numbers amongst that of the really top PI surgeons. I have a friend who is a good urologist and he suggest to go with surgeon's choice, and he states that numbers, IHO, are very important (he even does a few himself).
Anyway, it is a good thought that what I may find in total outcome is something at least simulr to VED. I have been a "turtle" all my life and just to think I will actually have a genuine "bragging rights" (to me) flaccid P will be wonderful. If things do not go as planned, then in truth, what is lost?

If you lost length the ved is great to recover it, and the lgx is the only implant that helps to recover length. But at the time of the surgery it does not matter what is your size in ved, only your stretched length, that is what you will get with the implant.

Implanted dec 2013,I had a Titian implanted 12/5/13.............I was going with the AMS my dr talked me out of it glad he did. I stretched about 6 inches in the office..........I now have about 61/2 inches back. I gained about 30% girth and it is harder than when I was 18
. Unless I told a woman she would never know it.
