Yup - Boston here also. Would like to chat sometime if possible. Is there any advice that is specific to those of us with husbands?

I am tentatively planning for a September time frame implant, that will be my next 6 month check up with my urologist. During my last visit on the March 3rd we talked about the fact nothing was working for me: pills, shots, and VED totally unacceptable and I wanted to pursue an implant. He fully supports my wishes and, as it turns out, has previously referred his patients to Vanderbilt hospital and Dr. Milam. Music to my ears LOL!
Will let you guys know how this goes - - I'm tired of feeling far less than a man

Take care y'all

First of all, gay or straight, we're all in this together when the equipment don't work. What you do with it when it works is your business, but making it work affects us all!!

To the gentleman who has used bimix without success, move up to trimix or quadmix. Quadmix did work for me pretty well, though I have opted for an implant (3-17).

Let me get right to the point.... I am trying to decide whether to go with the Titan or AMS. I have lost nearly an inch since my prostate surgery, and have learned from others here that the AMS might offer the possibility of regaining some of that length - plus when deflated might produce a more normal looking flacid penis. I have been inclined to go with the AMS for these reasons. On the other hand, the Titan probably produces a more rigid erection - maybe more girth - apparently because it is made of more durable materials. I question whether when guys have sex with eachother - is rigidity more important? When I was telling my urologist that the trimix only got me about a 70% erection, he seemed confused why I couldn't 'function' with that.... well I cannot! And although I don't want to try, I wonder if I had a wife instead would 70% be ok? ...so, are there any gay guys out there who have the AMS and have found it satisfactory? ...or would you recommend the Titan? Is all this needless worrying? Is there any consensus that 'penetration' is gender neutral? Hope I am not making too many of you squirm... but I am genuinely concerned.

Glenn,

I don't think anyone could say anything about male equipment that would make anyone else on this site squirm. "Frank Talk" means just that. Be yourself. Ask your questions. And keep asking until you get answers. Having sharp instruments applied to your most important body part is too big a decision to be made without all the answers.

Glenn,

Don't think gay guys are the only one who like to stick their penis up a tailpipe! I'm sure there are hetro couples who do this also. It's a valid question, so ask! I'm not in a position to give you an answer, just 2 weeks post surgery. But, if I could, I would.

I am...and did. I had Titan Coloplast surgery on 6/16 in Chicago. Day 6 I'm feeling a lot better. Pain has diminished as well as the swelling. Will keep you posted.
