Well, Im bionic

Postby crash220 » Wed Mar 12, 2014 3:16 am

I am recovering in a hospital bed as I write this. Had my implant (AMS 700 LGX, don't know specifics) Tuesday afternoon. Have some pain, still wrapped up, waiting for drain and cath to be removed. Spoke to GF yesterday, she can't wait to "take me for a ride" " patience babe, gonna be a while" had to tell her. LOL

Been waiting to get your report. I am several hours ahead of you on surgery. I got tubes removed about hour ago and hittihg fluids as to start peeing to get clearance to go home. Swelling has of course started much yet so little discomfort there. I do have discomfort where reservoir is, much like stomach muscle aches from setups. So far I am very pleased, hope we both continue that way.

Well, they took the drain and cath out, washed up, peed a little, they want more. Swollen, some bruising on my penis, all and all not too bad.

Side note,,,, GBMC in Baltimore has a kick butt omelette for breakfast.

Glad to hear you are doing well, it is not as bad as I had feared, not my favorite thing, but not nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

Hope your recovery is quick.

Oh,,, how did your surgeon insert? Mine was through the pubic area, did vasectomy that way also.

Best wishes,
Tom

Mine was scrotm approach. I have peed and just waiting on release papers then couple hours home. A little swelling started but expect more tomorrow. All very bearable and actually have needed little in pain meds.
I am told to staw down for a few days with intermentant short walks.....and ice, no tub baths.

Well,,,, they didn't want me back in bed, so I have been in a chair for a while, swelling is sort of bad I guess,,, pain is manageable.

Oh my surgeon deflated me this am, including squeezing my penis,,, I didn't enjoy that at all. I am praying, and assuming that once healed, it will be much more bearable.

Glad too hear that you recently implanted guys are doing OK. I'm going to be joining you on April 3 and I hope we all share the same successful result. If it wasn't for guys like you and this site I probably never would have got to this point. The knowledge, support, and experiences were invaluable. I'll add my two cents when the time comes. Looking forward to having an AMS LGX implanted on Long Island by Dr Mellenger.

Not a happy camper, I didn't pass enough urine, so they kept me and a staff DR TRIED to put cath back in. I told him to stop and get someone else. I wanted to inflict as much pain as he was causing me. Been peeing all night without cath, so things look better. I just wish they would let me sleep.

Oh, one more thing, I got a practice pump assembly on a ring, maybe I should use it as a key ring! LOL :')
