Its my understanding that"'S curves" in an LGX (or Ultrex) can be the result of oversizing. See
http://www.flinturology.com/pitfalls.shtml. Or, could you have developed Peyronies Disease at the same time as, or even as the result of, the replacement surgery? Or, could there have been damage to your cavernosa and/or tunica as the result of the replacement, especially if the prior Ultrex had tissue adhering to it that had to be separated during removal?
More than any major changes, the LGX is simply a new name for the Ultrex whose name had been around so long that, in the medical world, it was ancient. I have nothing but good stuff to say about the two Ultrex implants I had, so this last one, now called the LGX, is quite a letdown.
If it was oversized I'd feel a certain amount of pain with the cylinders applying pressure at the head of the penis, but I feel no pain or even pressure there at all. The surgery records indicate this one is the same size as the one it replaced (and the one before that), but this one results in my being about 1/4" shorter than before. As for Peyronies... my penis has been straight for 71 years, and when inflated only half-way is straight even now. In addition, after spending quite a bit of time talking with my urologist about my dissatisfaction, I'm sure he would have at least mentioned Pyronies if I had it (or even as an "out"), but he never has.
There is a video onine by one of the major implant surgeons where he talks about having so many problems with the LGX that he will no longer use it. Had I known prior to surgery about all the LGX negatives that I do now, I'd have gotten the Triton.
If I had any of the other issues you mentoned (damage to cavernosa, etc.), I'm sure there would have been more pain.
AMS was successfully sued many times a couple or few years ago by recipients of their LGX who had the exact problem I describe. This information is online for anybody who wants to search for it. Were I a young man and willing to have this surgery for a forth time, I'd be looking for an attorney right now.
And finally, this surgery was originally scheduled for an earlier date and I was in the room waiting to be wheeled into surgery. Forty-five minutes after surgery was scheduled to have begun, a nurse came in and told me surgery was cancelled because the AMS rep brought the wrong implant to the hospital. No, I'm not at all happy with that company.
