My doctor recommended me for an implant

I've taken the oral medications and edex injections everything stopped working. I informed my wife about the doctor decisions about me getting an implant and she said no but it's my decision. She do not know anything about an implant. I can tell her I got venous leakage and the doctor want to repair it so my penis will work again. My worry is if I don't do it, I can lose her. She claims everything will be okay without having sex but I know human nature will kick in. I am not ready to give up on her. I have read all 53 pages of the implant forum. I am scheduling an appointment with my doctor to inform him that I want the implant. I am looking at the AMS LGX. I am around 7 1/2 inch length and around 6 inch girth. I am on the road so I can't get an acquire measurement. I will start using my VED so I want lose any length or girth.

Where do you live? Who'll be the surgeon to operate on you?

Lewis,
Your size is very similar to what mine was. It's common for doctors to push AMS or Coloplast. Many times you'll hear that they do both but prefer one over the other. For many reasons they'll push their brand. But because of your size, you really should consider Coloplast. They are well suited for girthy guys.

I live in Huntsville, AL. My urologist is DR James Flatt. DR Flatt attended college at Vanderbilt University and did his Internship and Residency at Duke University. I am a Vet, like Harddrive but I don't plan on going to Birmingham so the VA can perform my procedure. My prayers are with Harddrive, I hope he makes a full recovery. The Urologist Dr. John J. Mulcahy, MD that performed his last implant is from Huntsville.

I don't want to lose any length or girth. The discussion forum is conflicting about the Coloplast. Some say you can gain length and some say you can not gain length. I wanted the Coloplast because of the girth but not if I am going to lose length.

Maybe you're gonna lose a little bit of length, but that's not that dramatic. When youve got a big sized penis, Coloplast is the implant of choice. For the sake of saving most possible length, the AMS LGX (formerly "Ultrex") is the perfect device. But they won't reach Titan's girth, for sure.

JJ Mulcahy is a great name. I don't know how many experince Dr. Flatt has collected, but if he studied the matter at Vanderbilt he'll know something, for sure. If he's not married with one of the companies he will recommend you the convenient device.

Hello lewisbl,
we seem to be in the same boat as far as ED and size. Due to the fact I am a Veteran and the Military where I am prefers the AMS LGX, I don't have much choice. Outside of going to a private Dr. I see the Urologist this Tuesday. Wish you luck!
