I had an AMS 700 implant in April. I am having problems with kidney stones.
Can the lithotripter which uses sound waves to brake up the stones be used when you have a three piece implant?
I plan on calling the manufacturer of the implant, but am wondering if anyone out there with an implant has gone thru this procedure.

No, there is no problem, the machine focus the acoustic pulse in the stones, which are far away from the implant. Don´t worry

I don't have an answer for your particular problem outside of the kidney stones. I've had them and they are an intense, vicious type of pain. Hope all goes well!
