Implanted with Coloplast Titan April 24, 2013 and a new Titan April 25, 2014
Five months after having my botched implant replaced by Dr. Paul Perito in Miami, my situation is:
Implant is convenient and easy to operate, both inflating, deflating and in use.
Occasional minor discomfort when the flaccid penis "bends left" in my undershorts while at work or out in public. Easy to "shift back to the right" when discreetly able.
Length is 4.25" to 5" depending on "where I measure" - I was about a six-incher before radical prostatectomy and a soft 2.5 incher for the 2+ years before my first implant. Girth is 4.25". Wish it was longer, glad it's not still the "little noodle" or "painful deformity" that it was before and after my first implant.
Orgasms are still fairly rare. Have had a few "mindblowing" orgasms. More often I'm going and going and feeling it's about to happen but something "fails to connect" even though I throb a bit and feel good. Just "driving" again is great!
Being a "side sleeper", I sleep inflated with no discomfort even though I "toss and turn" in my sleep. I started sleeping inflated soon after surgery as my flaccid penis still wanted to "bend left" (as it had been forced for a year after my first implant).
Still have the "cold head" if sitting around with my pants off. A warm hand or a tshirt pulled over the head warms away this discomfort pretty fast. The cold dick discomfort I used to experience fully clothed at the casino has disappeared. This summer we did 6 two hour "tubing" trips in the cold mountain water of North Georgia with very little discomfort.
Even with a year of pain and discomfort from the first implant, I am not sorry to have been implanted. I AM SORRY I didn't "shop doctors" better the first time. I did not know of this site then.
I cannot end this without profusely thanking Dr. Paul Perito who skillfully diagnosed, "troubleshot" and replaced my first "very botched" implant. Dr. P. - you 'da man!
