I am back again. Here is the back story of what happened, I had the insurance, pre-admission testing done, date of surgery scheduled. Then I developed more cardiac issues at the last minute, so I had to cancel the surgery, because of the fact that I no longer had clearence for surgery, due to the aformentioned issue. I had to undergo another stent procedure, that June. At which point I spiraled into a bout of depression, I then had another stent procedure in October. I now am coming up on a year free from any cardio issues and can get the clearence for the procedure.
At the time I was under the care of Dr Bruce Garber, and was very confident in his ability, in that time span I had to pick up different health coverage, and according to them I can have the surgery, providing that it's medically necessary, which is since I have ongoing type II diabetes. My problem at the moment is, since I am trying to get everything in place, so that when I get the apprioate clearence from the cardiolgist, I can move forward before the beginning of the new year, and I will have 100% coverage. Since the insurance won't cover an out of state Doctor, I am regulated to an in state Doctor in NJ.
All that being said I would much rather prefer a high volume implant surgeon, and I don't know of any that are in NJ. This isn't to say that there aren't compentent implant surgeons in NJ, as I am certain that there are. Question is who in NJ, south of Trenton that would be a good choice? Being that the areas of Camden, Burlington are not far away from my locale, I would prefer to stay closer to home if at all possible. Any help in this would be greatly apprieciated.........
Cheers H.H.
