Thanks

stkman here,
I recently joined the Bionic Brotherhood on 12/12/2014. I was implanted with the ams lgx. My recovery has gone rather smoothly and I am 1 week away from learning how to inflate/deflate the implant. If you are contemplating getting an implant you have come to the right place. There are so many good people on this site you wonder how the world can be so screwed. Take your time and read as many posts as you can. Welcome!! 8-)

good morning...
i was implanted on July 29, 2014. in the roughly five months i have been "bionic" everything has gone according to plan. My recovery was easy, my implant works as advertised and i experience no discomfort anymore, other than a little burning when i really pump up. i anticipate that going away as it has in the past. Anyway, i am five months along and very happy so far! btw...i was implanted with a Coloplast Titan OTR...no complaints!

I've had my Titan since 2008. Surgery and recovery were unremarkable. Due to circumstances the implant has never been used, but it still inflates and deflates with no problems.

Thanks guys, and yes I've decided to get an implant, I'm still trying to save up enough money though because I don't have insurance.

stkman, yea the guys here have been really supportive of each other which makes it easier for those of us going through this because it's a difficult situation to say the least.

dg_moore, I guess that's bittersweet. I'll browse through your posts to see what's happened.

Thanks

Hi, congratulation on your decision. As I have only been implanted one day short of a week (12/16/14) I have been pumped up yet but looking forward to getting to that point and beyond. I will only add that I agree with all that stkman said. Best of luck to you with your decision.

Hi another guy

I'm another guy who was implanted this April 3, almost 9 months now with LGX 700. There were no complications and recovery was not too bad. Of course the soreness was an issue for about two weeks or so. I didn't really have much pain at all other than the soreness and pain sitting or standing. Those problems all disappeared in about 3 weeks. I took ten days off work, which is desk and phone work.

Now I am exactly the same length as pre surgery, there was never any loss of length at all but I am slightly wider in girth. I'm told that even at this long after the procedure length should increase. Using it is a breeze and I do it frequently. Mentally this has changed my outlook on life . I have all the confidence in the world, and look forward at every sexual adventure, knowing that'll perform better than I ever did.

Look ahead without any doubts. One day you"ll be repeating my comments to another guy.

Hi guys! I'm also doing my research in finding a good surgeon for an implant. I'm paying out of my pocket and is worried of the AMS breaking down so soon. $20 grand is a lot to pay but worth it.

Deep, I'll also have to pay out of pocket.
I heard from my surgeon that both AMS and Coloplast come with a lifetime warranty, so if a replacement surgery is needed you may not need to pay for a replacement prosthesis.
You may want to pay for the hospital and medical staff costs though.

I've had implants since 1995 and it's been great. Believe only about 25% of what is posted on this board by guys who now consider themselves young studs. I understand where these guys are coming from, but take much of what they say with a grain or two of salt. There's an awful lot of ego posting here.
