Why some pople have great results with their implants maintaining their penile length and girth or increasing them. And others have really bad results loosing 2 inches or even more? Is incredible for me to see that really big diferences. I have average penile size. Im 28 years old with ED since 17. And i feel depressed thinking that my only option is penile implant with the possibility of lose several inches

If you have pre-existing conditions such as prostate surgery, Peyronies or extensive scarring your implant results may not be perfect. In any case, your odds of a good result depend crucially on the skill and experience of your surgeon. Find a skilled, experienced, well regarded high-volume surgeon, such as Kramer, Eid, Perito, Garber, Karpman, among others and you will likely have a good outcome. Or take your chances with a less experienced doctor and hope for the best.

I have seen people on the forum saying that they had bad results even with some hight volume surgeons. Probably do it with them lowers the risks but they are always there. Who of those surgeons is the best? I have seen that dr garber says in his web site that he uses a new technic for max length and girth

Everything in life is a risk. There are no guarantees. You pays your money and you takes your chances.

I highly recommend Dr. Karpman. I'm very happy with the results.

Hi Membrillo. I completely understand your concerns. I have been there brother. Ive had 3 implants in a year. Each time my penis got shorter. Its a real mental challenge to feel powerless by what choices you make in life. If I had it to do all over again I wouldnt have done it. But dont let me sway you in anyway. I dont have a clue to what your results would be after an implant surgery. Alot of guys get good results if theres no infection. But I think the statistics are actually higher than 1 to 3 percent of 100 men. I know a guy that got an infection just like I got not too long after I got my implant. I had no health problems but a venous leak that guy had no health problems but a venous leak also. So what do you do live with Ed or get an implant. Its definately a risk. I made a bad mistake but you may be one of the lucky ones. Who knows. I lived with Ed for about 4 months after 14 years of viagra. Then it stopped working completely. So I went for the implant. I wanted my sex life back and the closeness back with my girlfriend. We really drifted apart and now im left with a short penis full of scar tissue from the first implant. So it didnt pay off for me. But you may be different. Its like playing russian roulette. Once you do it, its no turning back. Its permanent. So think about it long and hard and think about it somemore. I hope Ive gave you some insight and some personal experiences. So that you may not be dissapointed later.

Hello membrillo . I 'll tell you what I think . I do not speak English and I used a translator to translate this text. i hope you understand everything right.

I 'm in the same situation as you, I have 24 years . For now I 'm not going to operate because I have no girlfriend and the only sexual practice that I do is masturbation .

With regard to what you mention the loss of penile length I have also read several online sites and always lost some penis length . In some cases a little , but otherwise I read lost 2 inches or more. And that's not the only risk of the operation. Infection is also quite frencuente after surgery and other problems.

For people of our age range I do not think the operation penile prosthesis is a good option . because what if something goes wrong? The probability that something goes wrong is not very low.

And another thing, according to several studies the probability that the operation goes well penile prosthesis is high. The problem is that a loss of length doctors dont consider it a problem and this is not reflected in their studies. If the loss of length one more risk of penile prosthesis operation was considered the percentage of success would not be considered so high because most of the time lost quite penile length . The doctors believe that the operation was a success although 2 inches lost.

for now I will not operate because although the operation is done right could never assume a loss of one inch or more . Depress me if I lost some length.
