It's About to Happen!

Postby upandhard » Fri Jan 02, 2015 5:19 pm

Well men, I just got word that my surgery has been moved up from the 28th of this month to the 7th! Wow! While I am somewhat spooked at the reality of becoming bionic In just 5 days, I am also anxious to get it over with as I have quietly obsessed over this for almost 2 months now. Despite this quick turn of events, I must say I feel well prepared for what lies ahead, thanks to you guys. As I have lurked here for the last couple months assembling info about this procedure, I feel as though I have developed a one-sided kinship with several of you as you've so eloquently shared your experiences. Zac, hebrewhammer, dg_moore, KMeister, ShopMan, stkman, stanri, ED2013, and so many others--you all feel like brothers as you've so freely shared the good, bad, and the ugly of your experiences. I can truly say that without your "frank talk" about this process, I would not be five days away from becoming bionic! Thank you brothers!

While somewhat scared, overall I am excited at the prospect of joining the BBB! I will keep you posted of my experiences as the time draws nearer.

Your entitled to be a bit scared. I'm having mine done on the 19th. Not scared.....yet Keep us posted, I promise I'll do the same
age 80. Prostate removed (cancer) 20 years ago. ED resulted. 19+ years did nothing. Tried pills, vacuum pump (HATED IT), injections worked sometimes, but not dependable. Presently have a inflatable, worked the 1st year. Not working for me now.

We only had a phone consult and he said he leans towards AMS products now. I hope I get the LGX.

I wouldn't waste any time worrying about your surgery. You will be just fine. I was very calm going into surgery and I don't think I am anyone special. I just had confidence in my Dr. and had listed to so many more that had been implanted the I decided that it was a waste of energy. Let us know how you come out. We are all pulling for you and you will be welcomed into the brotherhood of bionic men.

stkman here,
Congrats on the upcoming procedure and by all accounts Dr. Kramer will take care of you. Anything new brings on a level of apprehension and excitement. Courage is being afraid yet still seeing it through. Be Courageous my friend! 8-) Let us know what we can do to help you through this and we'll see you on the other side Brother!! :D
