Hi Guys
Contrary to your concerns I'm so happy with the malleable replacement from the inflatable they took out.
I am a unique case where my anatomy is strange in general with my left side being larger than my right torso, rib cage, dentures and penis. I tried the inflatable thing for 2 years and 8 days and hated the cylinder not fitting right even with a distinct bump under the glans on left and the cylinder had lots of room to move arround and was very noticable not just by feeeling it but looking at it. I was patient as my doc said it might resolve itself. It really didnt and the resevoire had slipped so my urologist and his collegue contacted the urologists (with photodocumentation) at AMS and the urologists were given advice this was a few months ago. My doc talked to me about a malleable and why it would be the best approach and also about revision surgery "(I didnt know he meant my actual penis) and he said I've become a case study. He mentioned ongoing education yada yada unversity. i signed all the forms. I didnt know how special i was to be treated
I had my surgery Monday and before it all began was introduced to all the urologists besides mine, a reconstructive one and no kidding here but a 2 urologists from AMS not sure from Canadas office or the states I didnt ask. i was told I would be videoed. I had to sign all these consent forms. Finally after getting into the floral pattern gown and donned my blue booties and cap. Lying down on the bed I got an IV put in me in the hallway with saline and the anaestesialgist sp?? gave me VerSed i couldnt see everyone or everything going and realized the VerSed is working fully I love that VerSed stuff! Thatd make an interessting party!!
I woke up with my penis wrapped up like King Tut and my scrotum witha catherater out the top. Already drugged on IV hydromorphone but pretty lucid for the most part. I had these white pant like things squishing my legs in all places at different times. i asked the nurse whats that she said its because I cant receive heparin for clots cause i had vascular surgery. What? no i didnt I had my implant replaced and my penis fixed. She verified Yes you had vascular surgery was part of it. Time flew by on meds the next morning a swarm of urologists were standing observing listening. OMG I found out yes i had vascular surgery cause the left side was shortened and the malleable rod inserted. all the doc talk was beyond. They all partially examined me. 2 of them fully. LOL I thought I would hate it if my penis was smaller but they did a damn good job to a avery complicated penis to implant. Finally after 2 years of the inflatable giving me so much hassle this is the best darn surgery ever. I dont mind the fact my penis was reconstructed with vascular surgery and is 4.25" ( uh oh measuring in quarters!! lol) long width is smaller but not by much but still swollen so I will measure in couple of weeks. My legth after the first surgery was 6.5" long x 6" wide (original around 8L x 7.5W no kidding) so I guess I'm not that bothered by the shortening cause I went through it once already.I love my new penis absolutely love it!!I am very happy with the results. I dont care about the guys in the gym; I didnt get an implant for them I'll just turn to the corner. heres some pics
