Hi, I am 28 years old and Dr. Eid did the surgery for my Titan OTR [22 CM] about 2 and 1/2 years ago. The surgery went great and I have been very happy with the outcome. I do have some concerns and was hoping someone on this board could help answer some of my questions or lead me in the right direction.
1. I started working out 6 months ago and have recently added dead lifts and squats to my workout routines. I also have been doing sprints for cardio. Am I risking damaging the implant by doing any of these exercises?
2. I'm beginning to worry about what will happen when this implant[and the next and next and next... assuming I live for a while] fails. When the surgeon replaces the implant with a new one... is it possible to have similar results on the 2nd/3rd/4th implant? [I didn't word this question very well... but I'm hoping someone can provide some insight on this]
Thanks in advance for the help!

Re: 2 1/2 Years Post Op - Questions
hello from SC,
i had a Titan implanted on July 29, 2014 and resumed workouts, including squats and deadlifts, six weeks later. i experienced no problems, pain or discomfort at that time and have had no issues since. i generally do 1.5x my weight on squats and deadlifts for reps. its pretty much like i have no implant now!

May be if you wear a tight underwear when sprinting, just to keep the stuff from moving around.

Posted a follow up on pumping topic.
Does anyone else have any insight on having to have the implant replaced many times through out my life?
I'm hoping they'll have one with an expected life of 100 years by the time I have to go in for implant number two.
Also in terms of exercising... I'm having zero discomfort performing these activities... I'm just scared I might risk damaging the implant and can't really find much information on the impact of doing heavy lifts or sprinting on the implant.
