It Isn't Easy Any More

Post implant surgery I've found that it takes a lot more time and effort to achieve an orgasm. Sometimes it takes so much time I give up and go without. In the course of my 35 year marriage this was never a problem prior to implant surgery.
Therefore, I'm wondering if implant surgery has a negative impact on penile senstivity. My surgeon never discussed the possibility of losing sensation or tell me that after an implant it takes more time, effort and stimulation, but it sure does. Is there anyone else finding it isn't as easy to achieve an orgasm with an implant?

Rick,
I had a Titan implanted in June 2014. For the first 6 months, I could not always achieve an orgasm by intercourse only. I usually had to complete by masturbation. At 11 months, it is no longer an issue. I suspect it is another one of those things that varies from individual to individual, but I believe it just takes time after that traumatic event (surgery) for things to level back out.
Best to you.
Bill

Rick.... I was probably 4 or 5 months post implant with my first (botched) implant before I reached orgasm..... I still had fun practicing..... I was 3 or so months before orgasm after my successful revision a year later.... I certainly have lost some (only some) sensitivity in my penis.
As I was 2.5 years with no erections between radical prostatectomy and Implant, I lost a little size as well.
All that said..... I can fuck and my orgasms are usually very long and very intense. Keep practicing..... When it does happen it will have been worth it!!!!
Good luck!!

I'm about 2 months post op and I couldn't at first either until last week. What helped was I stopped masturbating. And you gotta keep practicing, you'll get there.

I truly appreciate all of you who responded to a very personal question. It's been about 3 months since my activation. It was a great relief to hear I'm not the only one who experienced this. I wonder why this issue wasn't discussed pre or post surgery.

I actually had the same question and started a thread a few weeks ago, check it out:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5398From the responses of the thread and other comments I've read, there's little to no difference in sensitivity in most cases.
However, it seems people with Prostatectomy or similar procedures might be prone to being a bit less sensitive, but this is only
anecdotal, I'm not a doctor.

Sensitivity comes back. Just takes time. The more traumatic the surgery, the longer the healing process, which includes regaining sensitivity.
