Testosterone Replacement
To those that have had the IPP, has your Urologist suggested using Testosterone Replacement therapy ?
ED since my late 30's. Implanted 7/7/15 Titan Coloplast 18cm +4 cm extenders. Revision Jan 2017
Re: Testosterone Replacement
I was on T therapy (Androgel) for several months. It brought my level up from 135 (very low) to 500 (normal for my age) but I didn't experience any benefit of any kind - energy, well being, libido. Since it provided no benefit and is not without side effects I discontinued it. My level is now low again and I feel no different from when it was higher.
Dave, 80, Maryland - Implant (Titan) 2008 by Dr. Andrew Kramer (failed Sept 2020) - never used due to a stroke that, among other things, ended my sex life.
Life is not the way it's supposed to be, it's the way it is.

Thanks dg_moore, I was prescribed the patches and gels early on when i started having ED issues. I also stopped using them because of the side effects (rash, hives, temperament swings). I recently spoke with a Urologist who after doing an IPP prescribes a pellet that is injected. This slowly dissolves over three months providing a boost in libido. Wonder if anyone else has tried it?

If you do a search here for Testopel you'll find quite a few posts. I too started on the patch, but they caused a really nasty rash. The Androgel didn't cause me any skin problems, but it didn't improve anything for me in any way.
