Young Guys with Implants - Please Chime in

Postby Funny9097 » Thu May 28, 2015 11:36 pm

Hi all -

I have just registered to this site and am hoping to get some advice on whether an implant is best.

Here is my situation -

I think I 'injured' myself about 10 years ago having intercourse. I didn't feel severe pain but the next day my libido was severely weakened - similar to symptoms of venous leak. Since then my ED has gotten progressively worse. I have 2 hard plaque like pieces on the back of my shaft and some hard veins on the front. I suspect peyronies. I have been to doctors (family/urologist) but they haven't been much help. I am seeing one at the start of next month and will press for a penile doppler ultrasound, which I still have yet to get done. I feel that step 1 is diagnosis! (if at all possible, but many urologists over the years have been useless.. no offense). I also get hourglass shaped erections that eventually straighten out once enough blood is poured in (if I can get an erection via girlfriend and drugs that is).

I have severe ED now. Without drugs I can't get it up via masturbation and actually 'finished' the task with a flaccid penis. This didn't happen to me before but did in the last few months. This was very scary to me! My condition / symptoms over the years have gotten worse. I have done everything I can to minimize the progression of my condition from eating healthy to not drinking to not smoking or being around them, etc. I feel my life has been socially isolated to large extent over the past 10 years. I missed out a lot. I've had a few relationships but now am completely dependent on oral medication to have any hope of a suitable erection. Even then I typically need to not have had sex in like 4-5 days so last like a couple seconds.

I'm not sure if I am at the point where I should consider a penile implant. I feel that my condition will just keep getting worse.

I am hoping to get some feedback/advice from some younger guys (20-40) who have had it done. Based on my situation what do people think?

Question's to some young members that pop up include -

What are younger people's experiences? Have you young single fellas been happy with the implant in subsequent long term relationships? Is it relatively good sex/sex drive wise compared to before your health issues developed? I read on sites that 'people with implants have fathered children' - did some of the younger members go from single with implant to having a wife/family/kids? Is sperm quality effected?

This is my first post of Franktalk - So happy to be a part of this community and begin receiving some proper feedback! I don't know why it has taken me so long but it feels good to be a part of this group ! :D :D :D

Hey Funny9097! Welcome to Franktalk, you'll see this site is a blessing to many who come in need of help and advice. Glad I can be the first post you receive! So a little about my situation, I didn't have anything left to call a situation! Lol. I started with Ed at 21. The doctor said it was in my head gave me a script of Viagra and sent me on my way. Lasted for about half year then my body developed a tolerance to it and it no longer worked, so guess what's next...Levitra! Then come the bad boy Cialis. After all those became ineffective I tried a medication called Muse, it basically a supisotary you place deep inside your urethra and it causes an erection...ya didn't work and very uncomfortable! I couldn't get past shoving the device down my pee hole to disberse the pellet. So then comes the Tri-Mix injection. Really liked the injections while they worked but my body aquires a tolerance really quicklyto Ed medicine. So while on the injections the Urologist sent me get a ultrasound. They shot me up with a Bi-Mix injection, which I told them it wasn't enough and nothing is gonna happen. I was injecting 1.5cc - 2.0 cc of Tri-Mix so I knew there Bi-Mix couldn't touch that dosage! They put this hard core porno on while this Indian doctor played with my penis with the doppler. As I laid there watching this chick get a whole fist up her ass and the doctor saying, Whoa she's getting it hard! I felt utterly hopeless and depressed. This Ed is not only a physical problem but it can mess with you mentally as well. I had no reaction to the Bi-Mix and my penis laid there as it always did...Even with the ass fisting! So I went back to my Urologist and he said, You got a venous leak there's nothing I can do for you sorry get out my office. I wasted 12 years with this jackass. Then after I did some research and out of desperation to find somewhat of a cure and have a normal life I found Dr. Gerard Henry. He said he's gonna change my life with an implant. I had my AMS 700LGX implanted on May 20. I'm a little over a week post-op and I'm so very excited to finally have this weight off my shoulders and no longer carry the burden of Ed! I did't want to lose any penile size and really want to gain back what I already lost through the years. I haven't had an erection in about 1 and 1/2 years. The AMS 700LGX is known to restore lost length and girth over months of pumping. I trust Dr. Henry though, he 's a very well established surgeon and specializes in Ed. He's a pioneer in the field and has wrote and published many papers on it. He even took my age into consideration and worked with the size issue for my anxiety.

I often wonder what happened and why I got Ed so young. I used to get big rock hard erections. I met this girl and well this is the last memory I have of my penis functioning normal! I wanted to show her my Aztec warrior and he was bulging, I couldn't fit the tip of a needle in my pants that's how tight it was. I told her I wanted to play hide the cannoli with her but she told me no. She was one of those that thought I would leave her after and wanted a relationship with me not just sex. Well she jumped on top of me and straddled me, WITH CLOTHES ON, and dry humpped the shit outta me! My BFF was brush burned for about two weeks and she traumatized him for life. He's never worked right since!

The best advice I can give you my friend is to start considering an implant. After the injections there's no other options. Don't do like I did and get blindsided also, I put it off and then one day BAMN! The injections didn't work and I had no way of getting an erection! I can't offer you any advice on implant because I'm still in recovery phase and haven't had the pleasure of using it yet...BUT REAL SOON! I have talked to my doctor about having a family and he said it's very possible to father children with an implant. The testicles are not cut in any way.

I'll keep you updated bro. Holla at me if you have any more questions. Take care. God bless!

Hey Funny, I've always had severe ED since birth, neither pills nor injections worked for me, so I went for the implant just nine days ago, just like Jerseyhulk. Which is a bit unfortunate I suppose, because there are some of your questions I can't answer, but I'll try anyway;

Is it relatively good sex/sex drive wise compared to before your health issues developed?
- I havent' had sex yet, as it's a bit too early for that, but in terms of sex drive it's the same as before, it's there, no increase or decrease. Masturbation on the other hand is a bit different, it still feels really good, but your dick feels more flat than round in a way, which gets a bit better with stimulation and engorgement of the spongiosum and glans.
I read on sites that 'people with implants have fathered children' - did some of the younger members go from single with implant to having a wife/family/kids?
- I've heard a story or two.
Is sperm quality effected?
- As far as I'm concerned, no.

Didn't answer your first two questions because I don't have much in terms of experience yet.
Primary ED due to severe venous leak - Had a 700 LGX installed on 20th of May 2015 at the age of 20

Thank you for your feedback guys - I look forward to/hope to keep in touch with both of you and congrats on making this step. This issue is proving incredibly difficult, as I'm sure it has been for both of you and most members of this community.

Anyone able to chime in who may have been at the same life stage and has had an implant a little longer? (Perhaps for Alishan, Jerseyhulk and my own's sakes)

Best,

I'm only at about 3 months man so I can only comment on that amount of time. But so far it's been great, a real life saver for me especially after suffering my entire life (I'm 31). Here are my pros and cons...

Pros:
~Erection whenever I want
~Erection for as long as I want
~Much more firmer than a non implanted penis

Cons:
~Delayed ejaculation or not being able to ejaculate at all: Masturbation wise I'm fine but when I'm inside my girl it's definitely tougher to cum. But it's slowly getting there. We're working on it...
~Costs: I paid out of pocket for one of the best doctors in world. I received financial assistance from AMS, but at the end of the day it cost me about 17k
~Life expectancy: They last anywhere from 5 - 25 years, so I will be needing another one some day...

I couldn't agree more with Nick's comments. I'm the same age as Nick and had my surgery 2 months ago.

I'm experiencing the same Pros and Cons as Nick.

I just would add to the Pros that it gives me a huge psychological boost.
Knowing that I can have an erection in 30 seconds is great. I remember the stress feeling of what time to take viagra, what to eat before sex, or asking myself multiple times if I would be able to have an erection.
Another good point is that my flaccid length is longer than before which is nice.

To the cons:
I would add (at least for me) that I had some size loss to my erect penis. It's not something that really bothers me as the girls I have been with kept saying great things about how hard my penis was. I'm sure I was able to pleasure her and that's the important thing.
Also, I still have pain when pumped to max and it's something that really bothers me right now as I wanted to make full use of my device.

I do understand that I have not experienced the full results yet, and based on others experiences I should regain some size and the pain should go away in a few weeks/months.

All in all - in my opinion, the pros outweigh the cons.

Nick, yes - The last time I had sex I couldn't ejaculate at all. The girl was exhausted at the end. After she had her orgasm she tried to masturbate me but I was unable to ejaculate.
I suspect the reason for that was that I pumped it to max and had some pain during sex. I was able to ejaculate other times though, but it took me longer than usual.
That's kinda of funny because I used to ejaculate way too fast before implant. (If I didn't ejaculate fast I would go limp)..

I currently can achieve an erection but because I must have not had sex for like a week and I have a built up a massive reservoir/ 'loaded gun' I ejaculate in like 5 seconds if I don't 'pull out'. Oddly in 2015 I have not been able to achieve an erection via masturbation.

Fertility and not being able to ejaculate with similar frequency to when I was able to achieve frequent erections are probably my biggest fears with regards to Implants. Not sure if the former is warranted but am beginning to think so - particularly given the lack of feedback/response to my other post (link below)

I am in the process of scheduling an appointment with Dr. Kramer in Minneapolis. Aside from this problem (which seems to ruin/supersede everything) my life is actually pretty good.
