I know between the AMS vs Titan there is a difference when it comes to deflation.

First, I am excited and happy about my implant. I did not lose "trimix" size at all but still loss from radiation treatments. It also hangs to the right because of radiation scarring, one tube is longer but he said if I do all my practice, most of that will correct itself and it is straight when hard already. My doctor has me doing some exercises and he says there is a very good chance I can get all my length and get extra girth (although I have been pretty thick) back.

After 2 weeks I deflated the pump at the doctors office. That is the only time i had some pain but only 13 days from surgery. (btw I found out I was suppose to get a "keychain"! Do not leave the hospital with out the practice pump on a keychain. I can already see the huge benefits if I had one. The rep is suppose to send one).

Anyhow, deflated, I am smaller, softer, but it is still more than a little happy. I know with Titan this is more defined, but I thought it meant a little happy not well on its way. This is clearly happy. Wearing pants, the bulge is pretty defined. There is no mistaken what that lump in my pants is and the head, shaft is well defined through my clothes. I can already see complaints at the gym as I walk around naked to the showers and sit in the sauna. A little happy might have been ok, but this guy stands almost straight out - a little toward the down side but clearly up.

Normally exciting, but in my very small town - highly religious community, I am sure I am going to get some comments. I have tried deflating more, but this guy just wants to stand up. I read that with a pump you would not feel uncomfortable with grandkids crawling on your lap.. well this feels more than just a semi.. more like he really is happy and on his way. So when my grandkids come, I am going to have to be very careful.

You with Titans.. do you have the same "problems"? I know it has tougher tubes but I still did not expected the bulge to show through pants and when naked at the gym... just slightly happy not clearly happy.

I am really excited that I did this implant so far. Pain??? What pain? I never took anything for pain that just was not there. There is discomfort because of the feeling of having an erection all the time but I am sure I will get use to it. Blood flow actually seems to have improved. When excited I can see my penis twitch and the head and girth swells on its own. As I said, I see no loss from the "tri-mix" injection. I am so excited to use this thing that I have to remember I can't yet. But the idea of sex where ever, whenever I want, is doing a lot for the sex drive. That is what I missed and wanted. To many times on a drive or hike and I had the urge but could not follow through on the urge because I did not have an injection. And when i did plan a head, hiking with an erection after an hour or so got really sore and uncomfortable. Yes.. I am more of an outdoor sex guy.

Some of you know I mentioned a bulge on the side of the penis and I was told normal with Titan. When inflated it is gone, when deflated it is not as defined. It stood out, because I was not fully inflated and I was not fully deflated for the first 2 weeks..

My pump hangs well and the swelling seems to be disappearing fast. I cannot wait to get the next step of practicing going. Last week as pump up and then deflate. The week.. pump up FULLY twice a day and leave for 20 minutes. During this 20 minutes give a few more squeezes to see if it is fully deflated. He says I have to stretch my penis muscles back out. He says he has seen great improvement in size and girth (and I am already satisfied) and says it is clear I will see those benefits.

Just let me know your experiences with deflation. In the gyms at Texas.. I would not have worried and probably walked about proudly.. Utah is not Texas...lol

Yeah buddy...I know what you mean. There is just no way to hide the seamonster when the implant is somewhat stiff when deflated. I am about the same size soft or hard. And soft isn't actually soft. I wear my shirt tail out most of the time to better conceal ole Spike. Spike tends to point out and not down when soft. When it is pulled out at the urinal it looks like I have a semi. And it is even worse changing clothes at the gym. I am terrified someone will think I am turned on. I have a Titan....which is made of rather stiff plastic.

At the urinal I have to hold my penis down or it would stick out like a semi. See the attached pic. I used to never hold my penis when i peed.....just flopped it out and let it flow. It was heavy enough to point down. Now i unzip, pull out, and then I have to hold it down so it wont look like I am turned on.

I have a Coloplast Titan and have never been able to get it deflated as far as I would prefer. My uro explained that it is possible to move only a certain amount of fluid from the cylinders to the reservoir, and that fluid will continue to migrate from the portion of the cylinders inside the body to the portion outside, resulting in some re-inflation. I have grown used to being at half-mast most of the time and have switched from boxers to briefs. Of all the complaints I have, this one is pretty far down the list.

I have a Titan and don't have that problem. If I want to deflate completely, I squeeze and hold the deflation valve VERY firmly while squeezing my penis shaft very firmly. When done, mine points down and is completely flaccid.

I'm sure you've probably already tried this and didn't get the same results as me. I was instructed by my surgeon right after surgery to use this method for a couple of mounts every single time. He told me that if I didn't do that, the scar tissue around the reservoir wouldn't create a large enough cavity after healing and would make total deflation impossible because you can't force all the fluid back to the reservoir.
