Implant Advice Requested

Hi fellow Franktalkers. I am interested in some advice on implants. My basics are in the introduction section posted by Cincinnatus on July 21, 2015.
To repeat, I had stage 2b prostate cancer with a low PSA however, biopsy and MRI indicated Gleason scores of 3+4 and the MRI showed low density spots in several areas of both lobes of the prostate. Surgery July 23, 2013 (robotic assisted radical prostatectomy). Fortunately the tumor was confined to the gland. I did not require radiation, hormones or chemo. I go for my 2 year check up in late July.
Prior to surgery, I used 10mg of cialis prior to sex and it worked fine. Had no ED issues until I started taking BP meds. Uro figured it was a combination of age and the BP meds. Post surgery, I was unable to produce an erection capable of penetration. Trdied the litany of pumping, cialis daily and 20mg before sex, then on to Muse and finally to tri-mix. I was able to produce good erections with low doses of tri-mix (0.075 to 0.10 cc), however the results varied all over the board. Sometimes, the erection would wilt after 10 minutes, others I would have to take 120mg of Sudafed to avoid the dreaded four hour limit.
I went to an ED specialist here in Houston, TX. Am currently using 5mg of cialis daily and 100 mg Viagra prior to sex. Am having some better results. Am getting spontaneous night and morning erections. My penis will elevate so it is parallel to my abdomen, however the longitudinal stability is minimal. My wife and I can achieve penetration in some positions, however my penis is very prone to bend and fall out.
Hormone assays have been OK, I have testosterone about 75 units over the low end of normal. Doc says he does not think low T is the issue. I also don’t want to take testosterone supplements unless absolutely necessary. My libido is good.
After all that, I am considering implants of the three component variety. My questions are: The implant will give longitudinal stability when inflated, however does the surface skin of the penis also become firm, or is it “squishy” such as it is immediately after pumping?
Does the glans become engorged with blood and is it firm and sensitive?
There is ample discussion/reporting of immediate post operative experience, I am interested in whether those of you who have had implants for several or more years are pleased with your decision and would you do it again?
Thanks for reading and I’d welcome your counsel either publicly or via PM
