Sitting on pump for hours at a time

Does anyone have any suggestions for sitting on the pump for long periods of time? I sit at work a good bit but and trying to get up and take a stroll every hour or so. My DR says i have no ass pads :D so the pump seems to hang low and when the dull nagging pain starts up it does not hurt a ton but is annoying. Tried to sit on a ring or lean on my pillow. After a full shift of 7-8 hours i rush home to soak my balls, and that calms them down for the rest of the night.

I am six weeks from surgery so maybe just time but any other helpful tips would be appreciated.

I had the same issue for the first month or so and then started to get tbetter. You should be getting close. As you said more of an annoying discomfort that pillows etc didnt completely fix. Wish I had a solution for you. Hang on you should start to not notice soon. Good luck.

I had the same problem after I got mine. Found out it wasn't the pump, as I first thought, it was the RTE's pressing the perineal area. Using a ring helps till you get everything broken in. Good luck and welcome to the brotherhood!

I think that is what is bothering me the most is the RTEs are pushing up.
Thanks for the input.

Rear Tip Extender, they are the hard pieces that extend from rear cylinders to the inside of you.
you can see by my image that is attached to the back. I seem to sit on them and it is just rubbing me the wrong way.

I had considerable discomfort after the surgery. But fortunately for me, I had endured hemorrhoid surgery a couple of years before (did I really write "fortunately"?) and still had my donut. Sitting on that helped tremendously. It will get better...it should get better.

Well a quick check up by Dr yesterday confirmed what was causing me so much discomfort. A major hemorrhoid has developed, most likely from the straining of my first post-op BM. Now I get to go see the wonder Proctologist to get that cut out, what a month !

Nothing good can be said about that. If your whole bottom is already sore you might as well just take all the discomfort at one time and get it out of the way so you can move on.

Mine only seems to bother me when fully deflated.
