Lookin for a Doc

Postby Freddyboy » Sat Aug 01, 2015 10:01 pm

Just joined up recently (Ref my post viewtopic.php?f=14&t=5688 in the intros). Because I'm in Canada and not many uro's do the impant surgery I'm considering a trip south of the border. I hear Dr. karpman in SF is good. Is anyone aware of any good surgeons closer to the border i.e. Seattle or Portland?
Thx

Baltimore - Kramer - closer than Florida and arguably better but certainly equal
Dave, 80, Maryland - Implant (Titan) 2008 by Dr. Andrew Kramer (failed Sept 2020) - never used due to a stroke that, among other things, ended my sex life.

Hi
From this site I was given the name
Jean Francisco Eid

He is in NYC. Have a friend that comes to city. She gets off season vacation deals if you decide to use him.

I saw him 1X, nice guy.
Think majority of his practice is implants and ED
Seen several other guys in city. So far he really answers questions.

Think he gives phone consultations for a fee
Don't know what the deal is with that. Cheaper easier than office visit

Good luck
Thinking of getting implant. Have not done it because of the length I
have lost.
50, Straight, I miss women

Thanks to all for the responses. As U of Washigton is close (vs NYC or SF) i'll check that out first.
To chorton581- how was your overall experience with Dr Wessels? Are you satisfied with the results? Do you know if he has done many implants?
Thanks

Freddy, you can go to the AMS and Coloplast websites to get "referrals" on doctors who treat erectile dysfunction problems. Plug in Seattle, Washington and you'll get a few.

https://www.americanmedicalsystems.com/ ... alist.html

http://www.coloplastmenshealth.com/find-a-physician/

This Dr. Wessells appears to be pretty impressive. He was on both the AMS and Coloplast list. That's good; better to get a doctor who's not wedded to one company. Here's more dope on him:

Good luck!

freddyboy. Based on the fact that you are looking in Washington and Oregon, I'm thinking you live in BC. I am in central BC and in my 11th week post implant surgery. I had the procedure done in Prince George at the hospital. Darby Cassidy was the surgeon. He is one of the five referrals on the AMS website. There are docs in Vancouver at St. Pauls, Kelowna, Terrace etc. I had a good recovery and am now completely comfortable with activities and in operating the implant. Have a look at the AMS website for more info on BC doctors. I, like many others who have gone the implant route, wish I had done it years ago. Needles in the penis are a thing of the past!!
