Looked for an excuse for having the hardness from the pump but can't find one. I don't want to tell my girlfriend. would anyone know what a good thing would be to say?

Yes. I would say I had some health issues and I was left with ED. I was ot ready for a sex-less life so I chose to get an implant. It is much better than the alternatives for me. And for you it means that I can outlast you as lng as my physical stamina olds out, so I see this as a win-win. Thats what I would say.

At this time I don't feel comfortable telling the truth. Is there some illness, besides ED that could be justified? Any help would be much appreciated.

The truth is often uncomfortable but it is still the truth and will set you free.

Say you had an over erotic penis and it would never go down so you had to get your pump to get it down, not up. Say if you didn't have an implant you would be hard 24-7 at the touch and it started to hurt. Then say your natural erection was too hard anyway. This gives it more of a natural feel. You were tired of living life as a circus freak. Sometimes too much of a good thing is anything but.
Watch what happens next. You're welcome

Tell her the truth, or tell her nothing.
There's nothing wrong with saying you don't feel comfortable talking about it right now. Let her know you'll talk about it when you're ready, and it's nothing to be concerned about.
