Things To Consider If Travelling To The US For An Implant

I currently have my sights set on getting implanted by Martin Dineen in Florida - I have the money to self-pay, will stay over there for about 5 weeks to make sure I have access to care staff as and when they are needed.
The main issue I need to get advice on is how to foot the cost of medical bills if there is an infection which requires Regis vitalisation - I know some implants come with a 'warranty' so to speak and some surgeons like Dr.Eid will not re-charge you for a salvage op (but you will still pay hospital fees) - I am wondering whether travel insurance could foot the cost of a salvage operation if the contract classified the infection as an 'injury' or some such?
I will definitely speak to a travel insurer about this but just wanted to see if anyone had any insight on this?
Thanks very much.
