Guys
Thanks for all of your help to this point. I received my 700lGX this morning and am sitting in my hospital bed thinking how glad I am to have it behind me. After going back and forth on anesthesia, I opted for the spinal and am really happy in the route that I took.
With my wife and one of my daughters with, they strolled me to surgery surgery and know I am glad to say that I qualify for the "Bionic Brotherhood! My scrotum is quickly approaching the size of a baseball but I expected that.
Drugs are still onboard from the spinal and so pain is pretty minimal. Can't wait to move forward from here.
It's a great Monday!!!

Congratulations!
As I have it all in front of me, I am interested in hearing more from you in the coming weeks.
Would also be interesting to hear more about the procedure (pubic/scrotal, which type and size of implant, which doctor etc).
Wish you all the best of luck with your recovery!

Guys
Here is a quick update. I am feeling much better than I thought I would. I used ice almost non-stop in the hospital and I am continuing to do that now. In preparation, I had purchased boxers that are more like a compression short because they had a fairly large area for my swollen parts and they covered the skin so I could use a reusable ice pack without a cover and not touch the skin. That is working great at home.
Merrix asked what model and size and I received the AMS 700LGX and I finally remembered to ask my Uro what size he placed and he said it was a 22 cm (18 plus 4 cm RTE's). I have been taking the pain killers although I have very little pain but they really help with taking naps!!
Tomorrow I intend to put a half day in at my job, I am confident that it will go fine.
Right now I am extremely happy with where I am. I'll be honest that I was very worried going into surgery but, again, it was not bad at all. But, holy crap, I believe that they ran two different antibiotics starting before surgery and then rerun for another 4 times.
Hopefully they do their job in that I am a type 1 diabetic with double the odds for infection. A couple of months ago I got a new insulin pump and now a new penile pump. I feel totally pumped!! Thang God for technology.
Be well everyone.

Welcome to the Brotherhood.
By now you have figured out we have a unique walk too.
Remember to listen to your body and don't over do it. Everyday you will get better.
Ice was my friend.
Sounds like you are doing great.
