Since size seems to be the major issue people have after implant, I thought I would share some useful information.
When it comes to the question: 'What is average?', I know the reference here seems to me mr.average.com.
However, I think this is a better source:

According to this study, the average is:
Erect length (bone pressed):13.1 cm (=5.2 inches). SD=1.66 cm (0.65 inch)
Erect girth (mid shaft): 11.7 cm (=4.6 inches). SD=1.1 cm (0.43 inch)
It was also presented with nomograms which I have tried to upload.
Interestingly they show that only 10% are longer than 15 cm (5.9 inches) and only 5% are longer than 16 cm (6.3 inches).
At the other end of the scale, 10% are shorter than 11 cm (4.3 inches) and 5% are shorter than 10.2 cm (4 inches).
When it comes to girth, only 10% are thicker than 13 cm (5.1 inches) and only 5% are thicker than 13.5 cm (5.3 inches).
10% are thinner than 10.25 cm (4 inches) and 5% are thinner than 9.75 cm (3.8 inches).
The mid 50% (second and third quartile) fall within length 12 cm and 14.25 cm (4.7 and 5.6 inches) and girth 11 cm and 12.4 cm (4.3 and 4.9 inches).
