Hello fellow board members. I am a 50+ yo man who has Ed for past 20+ years. The pills worked great way back in 1997 when Viagra came out, then switched to cialis about 10-12 years ago and noticed good results but now not as hard. I suspect a venous leak. I will be having a appointment with a Kaiser permanente SoCal urologist in January. Inquiring if any members have had recent experiences with Kaiser SoCal regarding ipp surgery. Thank you

I do. In fact, three surgeries: in April to implant a Titan (but pump in scrotum rejected at 8 weeks); in June to remove it (and put in a temporary malleable); and in October to implant an AMS LGX. All by the same urologist at Kaiser Sunset. PM me if you'd like to have an email exchange about specific questions or a phone call.

Just had my eval with urology. Mentioned I had Ed as early as 27 yo but it was hit and miss, and when viagra came out, I was like 20 yo again. Now at 53 yo Ed pills not as effective and I lose erection in doggy and missionary after about 5-8 minutes. Told Doctor also about my weird shape flaccid dick on Ed pills. Thick at the top and narrows at the bottom, use to be plump from tip to base. He recommended a vacuum, but I told I get quality erection with Ed pills but like I said above. He recommended a ring, said I tried but still disappears. I told him injections wasn't for me. He suspects mild peyronie maybe. He didn't recommend the implant due to my age. I asked him what do I do about my sub 5-8 min sex? Good if I was running the mile but sex is different sport! So a appointment was set up with Houshiar. So let's see where this goes. For what ever reason, the doctor thought I still get sustainable erections without Ed pills. But to his credit he did open up to the idea of the implant when I said I don't have sex without Ed pills. Will keep you updated, appreciate anyone with experience with Orange County Kaiser

Will have surgery in April, so the countdown begins. Goodbye viagra and cialis and hello spontaneity. Had limited sex from age 27 to 33 yo. I'm not going thru that again, since pills not as effective. Will let you OC KAISER MEMBERS know how it goes.

Good news. Do you have medical insurance that will pay (at least in part) or are you paying out of pocket?
