i would appreciate anyone who can help me decide if an implant is a good decision for my situation. 3years w/peyronies. lost about 1-1/2" in length and have hourglass mid shaft and unable to maintain erections long enough for sex, even with help from pills or rings.

Yes! I had the same condition and was implanted with the AMS 700 LGX on October 14th and now I have a very staight rock hard Penis and have already regained what I lost. Best decision I ever made.

I had Peyronies (no hourglass, but a sharp upward bend about 1/3 of the distance down the shaft). I hadn't lost any length, and the implant straightened the bend completely.

I had a 45 degree bend up at mid shaft. The titan Coloplast fixed me. Also had a Prostatectomy so the implant fixed ED as well.

My urologist recommended an implant (which I knew nothing about) when I went to her a year ago for treatment of my Peyronies. She said that, if ED was also an issue, maybe an IPP to treat both the Peyronies and the ED would be advisable.
It wasn't the easiest path to where I am today (three surgeries; rejected pump in first one with Titan; then malleable for several months; finally AMS LGX in October), but now, penis straight and hard, I am pleased, and so is my wife.
Well worth your consideration, from my experience, and I wish you luck with your choice(s).

I had a section of the left side mid shaft with peyronies. Got an AMS LGX 26 days ago and would rather have my peyronies back and the vacuum pump. Implant was a big mistake at this point.

I had peyronies after a bike accident
It got to be quite a bad bend upwards
Then ED arrived
My consultants letter said I had peyronies and ED which is a contradiction in itself
February 2015 had a AMS LGX fitted yes it hurt and had a small infection but now I'm straight and loving my bionic boner
I used to think about the bend or the ED
Now I don't even consider it
Life changing for me
I am now a man again

I had Peyronies (attributed to injections) with upward curve that cost me about about 1-inch length and left me with inability to penetrate due to the curve and ED. I had an AMS 700 LGX implanted in May 2014 also that straightened my penis and has given me a nice on-demand erection.

My LXG seemed to help the peyronies at first but now 4 weeks out the bend is back more. I may be an exception. I know others told me a Coloplast implant works the best for a bad bend issue. One thing I have no doubt is certain. Peyronies does not get better w/o intervention. It gets worse. I feel bad saying that but the truth is best.
