AMS aid for replacement

Because of an apparent bad pump or seal in the device I got in Nov, 2015, my doctors office called this morning and offered to either replace the whole device or live with it deflating after about 10 minutes. I am going to get it replaced and was wondering if anyone knew or ever heard of AMS offering or giving some financial assistance in the case of a bad device. Medicare covered me but I want to go to another doctor as the response from my current guy left a lot to be desired. I have called both Eid and Kramer and my cost is 3 or 4 thousand dollars respectively. The other thing what are the risks other than infection that one faces when replacing everything? That is another reason that Kramer stands out, when I called his office and explained what was going on his secretary said he was used to fixing other doctors mistakes. That actually made me feel better.

You want ever have to pay for repairs or replacements from AMS. Only the difference your insurance pays for the surgeon and hospital.
We are lucky, our insurance co-pay is only $25 for the whole procedure.
Good Luck with it,
