Facebook had no information available about penile implants so I started one. If anyone is interested in joining you can search Facebook for:
Penile Implant Information & Support
You'll find the page. Facebook is used by millions of people, some who have ED. This is my way of getting the word out. On the plus side many here have a lot of experience to share. On the down side if you use your personal Facebook page you give up your aninminity.
If anyone is interested like the page and join the community. It's on the ground floor. I hope this will be another place to give men and couples support and information.
A New Community on Facebook
Re: A New Community on Facebook
I appreciate your sincerity to expand the community, but I will have to take a pass on this. Considering my Facebook account is accessed by my family, children, grandchildren, professional associates, church associates, clients, wife's friends and work associates, etc., I would rather keep them out of the loop regarding my troubles and tribulations with my penile implant and sexual health.
I wish you the best of luck.

Ditto - not a bad idea, but FT is enough for me.

Re: A New Community on Facebook
I understand why this would be a problem. I wonder if the solution would be to make it a closed group so it could not be publicly accessed
Re: A New Community on Facebook
I don't Twitter or Facebook and this is the only forum I belong to so please excuse my ignorance. I was wondering what a closed Facebook group would do that this forum doesn't already do?

A private group kind of defeats the purpose that I think you are trying to achieve. If I personally wanted to participate in a FB implant group, I would create an alias account to shield against friends and family discovering my condition.
