Hi
Let's see, I started to have ED about twenty years ago in the mid 80's.
Since i am 67 today that would make me in the forties when it started.
What was the final blow was prostate cancer in 2005, I have not had an erection since then. Pills do not work and the VED was more a pain then it was worth. Then we tried shots, out of 10 or more one one worked, one sent me to ER for several hours.
Then I started thinking about getting an implant.
March 9 is the date that will be done in San Antonio. I am not looking forward to the drive back afterwards. I hope for some good pain killers for the trip.
I am not sure what implant the doctor is going to use, I lean more to the AMS, still the Coloplast Titan has some pluses.
A little more about me:
Retired from the telecom field after 30 years.
I work as a chashier today for the fun of it.
I am fairly open to most things in life and sex. Life is to short not to be.
The biggest thing that I miss today after my surgery is not able to have an ejaculation. I can not taste it again in my wife or see it on her. I know this is a man thing most of the time. Still it took major part of me. My wife said she does miss it also, still not to the dregee that I do, or go back to her days in the 70's.
So, to the ones that have gone down this path, I am thinking about taking three weeks off, still as a cashies I do have to lift many items over ten pounds, cat litter and dog food. I know everone is different. What is your guess when I can go back to work.
Second, I hear that there is pain the first few times you pump it up the fisrt time, has any one tried to use a cream as a local aspirin cream, not for intercrouse, but just to get it ready?
I hope to hear from anyone. I am the first one in my US TOO group to get an implant, might need to find a larger group.
Thanks for any help.
Marvin
