Cost of the surgery with two top doctors

What are the average charges (final bill) for Dr. Eid or Dr. Kramer? I mean for those guys who paid out of own pocket rather than through their insurance.
I would like to get an idea of what numbers we are talking about to see whether I should even start contacting those doctors. On the generic medical presentation slides I could find, it states $10-20K. However, I doubt there is anybody who paid less than $25K.

If paying cash may be worth checking with Dr Kramer and hospital or Dr Eiid to see what discounts are available. Also worth checking with implant manufacturer re any help.

Whatever dollars you can save on going cheaper with someone else - unless your life depends on those dollars, it is not worth to save them...

Thank you for the details.
Yes looks as if Dr. Kramer takes a great pride in his work. On top of that, he supplies the "free video" of what he was doing. The recorded video theoretically could be to his disadvantage if makes a mistake so the fact he does not hide anything speaks for his level of confidence.

Is $20K the full bill? Is there a tax on top of that?
$20K seems to be feasible to achieve in savings if I find a second job… So I guess I just need to move my ass.

I couldn't agree more. I wish I had chosen a top doc the first time.
