The dick that will never be right again

Had the office visit with Dr. Lavine today. Outcome:
It pumped up hard the first time he tried in 15 pumps. Why? Who knows. It never has before...EVER. Why
couldn't any other doctor get it to work? I asked debris in the pump? He said possible. He tells me the key
is to pump it as few times as possible because the pumps come apart and fail.
Still has the curve to the left. He advises modelling for the next couple years. In other words pump it up and bend it straight.
I told him that the Patient Assistance person at AMS/Boston told me to keep pumping the hell out of it 200 pumps for another
6 months to 2 years. He said that is correct. He said I've installed thousands of these implants.
Agrees that many of the aspects of the pump and tubing placement are not ideal nor the way he would install it and most people
find it very uncomfortable installed the way mine is, but most are sedate old men, not young and active so they deal with it.
Dr. Lavine said he could not find my reservoir and it was very likely it was moving around in the pocket of muscle somewhere. I swear it has moved down quite a bit and that is where the stabs of pain have started coming from the last week which changes when I pump it.
Tells me to learn to live with it. Not worth the risk of having surgical complications to try to fix it and most people are very
uncomfortable with the tubing sticking out all the time, just an issue with infrapubic. He would not have done it
that way. Just deal with it or wait till something fails. Something will fail at some point, likely the pump first.
I asked about the spermatic cord wrapped around the pump. He says there is testicular tissue wrapped around the pump, just get
used to it and see how it plays out after a couple years.
I asked about the glans not engorging. He said that is common and do not let anyone inject Radiesse or transplant fat in it. Those
will cause more glans problems in the future.
I asked what to do about it. He says try Muse but in his experience it only works 5% of the time. I asked about trimix gel. He gave
me a prescription. Wanted me to fill it here but it was $37 a dose. I just wanted a swelled up glans, not hire a hooker. The
prescription is no good at a compounding pharmacy because it does not tell the recipe of the mix.
I asked about the length issue and he said losing 1 3/4" from the prostatectomy is normal.
I asked about the loss in girth and loss in length from the implant. He had left by then and left me with his surgical assistant. She
said everyone
loses size. my wife interrupted and asks " but a loss of 1 3/4"? She replies EVERYBODY people lose that much or more. I
was not sure I heard correctly and asked my wife. She confirmed she said everybody loses at least an inch. My wife said
"So losing 3 1/2 inches from a prostatectomy and getting an implant is normal?" She said "yes it is".
I asked what are my option? I came in here with 8 issues we went over. Only 2 were addressed. Live with it or have this thing
removed and throw it in the trash, correct? She tells me any local urologist at home can remove it. It will take a skilled one
if I ever want to put another in after it is removed.
Result: I am upset. Felt like crying for an hour. Went back to our son's house. His neighbor cut down a tree so I split it by hand.
Didn't feel like crying after beating the crap out of a locust and a pine tree in the center of Chicago
but mood not much better. 3 days time wasted
and $800 for nothing. Why the hell can't a person get a dick worked on, and make it close to as usable as it used to be? When I was leaving they asked me to sign MORE forms to release my information on subsequent visits.
I told I would not sign it as I will not be back. I wish I NEVER had an implant. WORST decision I've ever made. Penis was barely
usable with the vacuum pump and trimix and not getting better but it was something usable and I was at least maintaining the size I had after the screwing the prostatectomy gave us. This damn thing is not useable. This shit
to get used to what it is now is unbearable.
