I've been thinking about this for a bit. Milam refused to let me tell him about it, and Levine would not discuss it. Ryback listened but did not comment. Being Eid sized merrix and moetheman 3 times also makes me think I have the right idea.
As I've stated before my dick was a grower but it would not grow in one swoop but instead grow a stage, then in a few minutes grow another stage. Same in the vacuum pump. 1 -2 minutes later after the first stage it would do another inch. With the injections, sometimes it would be half an hour before it would grow another spurt. Girth always came on the second round as well as glans getting huge.
I am wondering if the extra time Eid is spending to get the implant just right is allowing these guys to get to their "final stage". Everyone else seems to slice, probe, implant, and go home. Perito has videos where he brags he completes the whole procedure in 16 minutes. I wanted to explain how my dick works in the growth respect but Milam refused to let me tell him. I cannot help but think time makes a difference. Even post implant I can pull on my penis holding steady pressure, then all of the sudden it is like muscles relax and I can pull about 1/2 to 3/4 more length. Cannot keep it nor pump the implant enough to hold it but it is that way.
Who thinks more people would have fewer size issues if the doctors gave more time?
2 doctors have told me the key to an implant is get in and get out fast, the risk of infection goes up with time open.

Re: Thoughts
You bring up a good point for sure. . . at least from a time standpoint. . . I'm realizing that's probably why Kramer was not able to finish the job with me - or more likely - decided not to. . . because he had 4 or 5 more patients lined up behind me and couldn't or didn't want to keep them waiting or cancel their appointments. I know he's great at what he does but two other urologists have told me they'd have scheduled half a day for my case, I"m guessing Kramer had me down for about 45 minutes. Still hopeful that one of them is going to be able to get the job done in the near future. Being quick is not always best or something to brag about, regardless of infection possibilities.

I believe you might be on to something, Ali. My brother recently had shoulder surgery. The surgeon had scheduled six more that same day, so seven in all. Clearly, if a doctor is scheduling several procedures in one day s/he can't afford to spend a great deal of time on one. It makes sense that extensive corrective surgery would take additional time and care. But how does a patient know the doctor intends to utilize such time and care?

Re: Thoughts
One thing I've truly realised about Eid is that he's a perfectionist. To him quality is of prime importance and he does not cut any corners. He may be a bit more expensive than Kramer but I believe he's worth it. He also had a patient after me but he spent the extra time on me to get it as good as possible. Alibaba you're right, even I was growing in stages during my cycling and glans pulling exercises. It also depends on the temperature. Eid must have squeezed every possible mm out of me, especially after the scar tissue had already formed from the previous surgery.
I don't think you could go far wrong by choosing Eid alibaba. He'll get you the best possible outcome you can have at this stage. I was quite surprised he managed to fit a 24cm Titan in me. For me it was wishful thinking as realistically I expected a 22 with possible RTE only. That's what Eid had thought but he managed the 24cm in the end. What I really like about him is that he guarantees at least a minimum outcome which seems good enough, but then he normally exceeds it too. He's quietly confident and puts patient satisfaction at top of the list.

Re: Thoughts
Ali you are right. For years I used a VED and it only worked well when I 'knead' the dick for five minutes before starting the workout. Warming up with an infrared lamp had the same positive effect. A dick needs time...
Now with the implant it is similar. The dick expands much better when I do it in a hot bath. Pumping is also way easier. In the beginning the pump was hard like a rock, then I thougt a hot bath might make the pump softer. It did. I went into the warm to hot water, waited five minutes, then I started pumping. Just try it.
My operation lasted app. 50 minutes. Was easy said the doc, no scar tissue etc.

Re: Thoughts
I just learned from Dr Eid that he spent close to three hours on me. I wonder how many other urologist would spend that long, especially if they had multiple patients lined up afterwards. Looks like Eid spends the time that is required for a great outcome.

Re: Thoughts
MIlam and his group of students spent 2 1/2 hours on me but a lot went on that are not in the record that have little to do with placing the cylinders and according on one student, 1 hour was spent on scar tissue on the left side. As far as cylinder placement, that only took a couple minutes I understand. Eid is spending a LOT of time on cylinders on you boys.
As far as a rush job: When I had the prostatectomy in 09 I was scheduled for 7 a.m. surgery. Second on the morning. There were complications with the patient. Both doctors would come in from time to time in pre-op where I had been since 5:30 a.m. to tell me about the delay. Then the DaVinci machine broke down and had to wait for a mechanic for be flown from Chicago to fix it. The doctors were livid by noon, downright angry and in a sour mood by 7:00 p.m when they started on me. When I woke up I asked the nurse if they were able to do nerve sparing. She replied" Honey there is no way they did nerve sparing on you. The average prostatectomy takes 2 hours and another hour extra for nerve sparing. Your surgery only took 1 hour and 20 minutes from in the door to out the door, the fastest I've ever seen". The record also shows it took an hour and 20 minutes as it has the time I entered the O.R. and left. Next day I asked the co-surgeon about it. He told me Dr. Kibel told him to cut wide. I asked that referred to. He said you take out everything you can get in one big swipe and don't try to save anything. Thyroplasty number 5 was the same way. Dr. did the surgery exactly like he told us in 2 office visits he would never do because it can never be revised. When I asked him why ( after he had scheduled surgery 6 that I cancelled to work on it some more) he said " because it was faster". I think insurance companies to some extent put a limit on doctor pay "per procedure" that also causes a rush job. Would not surprise me if Milam had people after me though doubt it. Mine was to be at 2:00pm and was moved up to 8:00 a.m. after 2 cancellations.
Rush jobs suck. I refuse to do rush jobs for my clients. You either allow me the time for a job that satisfies me, thus will satisfy you, or get someone else.
Interestingly, merrix and moetheman are both self pay. No limitations of a thieving profit for stockholders insurance company. Wonder if that is a factor besides a doc who wants every job to be a work of art?

Re: Thoughts
Alibaba, the time crunch issue is one I've thought about a lot, both just before the surgery and ever since. I got to the hospital at noon as instructed, with surgery scheduled for 2 pm. I sat in the waiting area from noon until well after six. It was between seven and eight when I was finally getting prepped for surgery. I just wonder how tired the crew was and if they still had more patients after me.

Wow. That is a long wait. You may be correct. You would think doctors would be scheduled to allow for various issues to come up. It was obvious some would for me, some I am sure are unforeseen. Have you a date for dick update version 2.0 yet?
