Lost track of thread

Postby alibaba » Wed Apr 06, 2016 1:11 am

I do not know which thread it was discussing blood flow to glans. I had replied I had scans scheduled for yesterday. I spent 2 hours in the CT scanner. I've had as many as 7 CT's in 1 day but never spent 2 hours straight in one like the PET or MRI scanners. No reason found for blood flow issues on skin or glans. One artery was found to be "mildly enlarged" but that was the only abnormality. Interestingly when I finally got to pee, the glans swelled up for the first time since the implant. I think the "heat" from the contrast dye must have had something to do with it. My ball sack felt like it had a hot pad on it. I was in so much pain from not peeing for 4 hours I asked to get off the scanner and pee. Could barely walk to the bathroom my bladder hurt so bad and peed most pee ever in my life; then it started getting bigger. Has not done a damn thing since. I have no idea what was in this contrast but different than any other contrast I've ever had.

Are you having a problem with blood flow to the glans?

I'm suffering from the same, even though Milam told me in a 12/15 visit there was blood flow in my glans. However, my glans is very floppy on erection -- not indicative of blood flow, in a layman's opinion.

Sometimes glans is grey color, sometimes blue, sometime pink. Never engorges and soft enough to fold over on itself. Like squeezing a tiny little pillow all the time. Skin is wrinkled up on the end where it was always plump pink and shiny. Never discussed it with Milam. He told me 3 minutes before surgery he was going to make my dick smaller "and we are not going to discuss it" and walked off. I am not wasting a 3 day trip to see an arrogant ass who is not going to discuss my issues. Should have taken him literally instead of thinking it was ass covering and yanked the I.V. and fled the damn place.
I hope you find a way to resolve it. One doctor told me most people have this problem with an implant but you never hear a doctor say that or hear it much on the forums. Everyone says they have a new teenage dick that preforms flawlessly. A friend of a friend is having to have a new implant after a year as it has failed. He has had the same soft glans issue too and pissed because he is eating viagra like candy which was the reason he got an implant to start with.

The doctor who said most people have this problem with an implant is probably a doctor who hasn't kept up to date with the latest surgical techniques and results over the past few years, especially as practiced by the better surgeons. There are numerous men who are very satisfied with the results of their implants; I'm one of them. Your friend of a friend may be one of the unfortunate ones like you who got a botched surgery. It happens and is not the result of the implant device itself but the results of poor workmanship.

All of the messages you've posted, Ali, about your poor results underscores what seems to be the marching orders by virtually every member here: Before you lay on the table do you homework; go to a board certified, experienced surgeon; and when in doubt about the surgeon, walk away. Another salient issue is that undergoing surgery does involve risk.
