If the United Health Care is medical assistance, we (University of Maryland-Dr. Kramer) were dropped by UHC early this year. If it is through his employer, we do take it. However if patient has an out of state HMO, we are not going to be in network with an out of state HMO.
The patient that this pertained to lives in Missouri and not sure if the pertains to other states. be sure to always check and it the case, raise hell with United. I had them once an they were very good. Now I'm not so sure after learning this. If they do not work with one of the best in this field, what next?
Good luck to all that have United Healthcare.
