What are tip and rear extenders?

Postby warrenw123 » Thu Jun 16, 2016 12:36 pm

Hello,

I've been reading about the AMS 700 LGX and some people mention these extenders. Are they to help make it longer? I had an AMS 700 put in 4 or 5 years ago but cannot remember which model. Its the dual cylinders I know. It stopped working last year because of a leak and the doctor said I need a new one. So because this is self page I am looking into all my options. It seems from what I have read that the LGX is more promising for getting closer to your original size.

So like I said I read about these extenders and some people say they had them and some do not. Can someone let me know a little more about them?

Thanks!

Warren

The Implants come in certain sizes. I beleive in 2 inch increments so if you fall in between these measurements they make up the difference with RTE's.

Do all of the AMS 700 models come with this? Or just the LGX? I will have to talk to my doctor when I am ready to replace mine.

Thanks!
