Just curious how long does it takes to get used to pumping the implant? How many pumps does it take to get a hard erection? The wrong way and right way to pump? THANKS!

Most, if not all, find the pump very hard to operate at first (it's like trying to squeeze a marble). This is normal - the bulb will soften up with time. The number of squeezes to achieve an erection depends on the "depth" of the squeeze - if you can squeeze "wall to wall", i.e., completely collapse the bulb, it will take fewer squeezes to inflate. In my case, if I squeeze hard enough to collapse the bulb it takes a long time to refill - mine works much better with a larger number of small squeezes than a smaller number of deep squeezes. You'll find out through experimentation what works best for you, but in any case it takes lots of practice to fully master.

I agree totally with Dave. Early on it is slow and somewhat frustrating. First, you need to allow swelling to diminish. Once the scrotum is palpable, experiment. Find the pump, the bulb, and the deflate valve. Don;t initially try and get a full erection, do three or four squeezes, then deflate. Once you have the knack, it will be much easier. It is also much easier if the scrotum is loose, try it in a hot bath or shower. It is really a trial and error process. You'll master it quickly tho.

Do a search in "implants". This has been a topic that has been discussed several times. I know because I have written a couple of posts on the subject.
