Some burning questions about dimensions.

After implantation, is there a difference between inflated vs uninflated length? 1) Same difference as before the implant, 2) some difference but less than before implant or 3) no difference at all between uninflated and inflated? Does girth change inflated vs uninflated?

Are some models more variable than others? For example, does the AMS LGX have more variation in dimensions than than other models of AMS or the Coloplast? Or do they all just keep constant dimensions, inflated or not with the only change being rigidity?

Does penis size influence the choice of implant maker or model? That is, a man with a 4" to 6" erect penis might be better served by one maker (AMS or Coloplast) over another whereas a man with an 8" erect penis might be better served with a different maker or model. What issues should be considered? I am thinking the slightly less stiff AMS might be better for non-inflated comfort, but perhaps the Coloplast is a better choice for coitus or for service life?

For reference I have a 5.5" (or therabouts) erection with a flaccid length of between 2" to 4" depending on recent history. I am trying to predict what might be best for me in particular. So anyone of similar size or who could tell me what the issues that matter are... thanks.

I have The Ams Cx And there is a difference in flaccid length when inflated and girth will increase as well. After 7mos post op I'm close to my size before my implant days .The hard part of going with and implant is the healing process of going from not getting and erections to having wood for 1 to two hours per day to regain length .Your 18 again and your wife is still 60.Still fun to be hard again. In most cases your doc will decide which inplant you will get.At least that's the info I got when I asked questions to urologist in my area. And then when my urologist went in for surgery he had both AMS and coloplast available for installation and installed what he thought was best at that time of the surgery. Only regret is I wish I wouldn't have waited so long to get this wonderful surgery. Best of luck In your search for your implant .

I am about the same and Dr. Kramer used a AMS/LGX as it will expand and with time the length will come back. So far I am happy as girth is coming back and length is also but slower. May take up to two years. Pumped last night and got big burn (muscle) from penis being stretched. Could notice difference in girth and length. Did not keep inflated as long due to burn but will continue to pump up 15 times, wait 5 or 10 minutes and pump again to inflate more as Dr. Kramer mentioned once. It appears to work as far as gaining more size.

Pump to get back what god gave you.

Before my implant I was a definite "grower" (more than doubling when going from flaccid to erect). With my implant I am more of a "show-er" (three-fourths the inflated length when uninflated), the inflated length being the same as my original erect length. Do I like this change? Duhh! :D
