I'd like to hear back from guys with rear tip extenders. How satisfied are you with them? How secure does the implant feel. And how rigid is the implant when erect?

THANKS!!

I, too, wonder about RTEs. Do they provide any function other than to adjust length? (The O.P. seem s to suggest stability or angle might be an effect.)

I wonnder.

I have one rear tip extender. I don't notice anything, but then again, I don't know what it would feel like without one, so I have no way to compare. When my penis is erect, it sticks straight out and it is immovable.

I guess without RTEs one will have a better, more natural angle. Pointing upwards. I have RTEs and pointing to 4 o'clock - a fact which I hate. The implant is working excellent, I''m happy with it but without RTEs the result might be even better.

Vagabond127,
The RTE's are a necessary part of the operation ... if needed. When the surgeon measures you internally, sometimes it's necessary to add these RTE's to get the correct sizing. They also are used depending on the person to keep the hoses attached to the cylinders up and out of the way.

See the white rear tips of the cylinders ... the RTE's snap onto there to get the correct size and/or keep the hoses up and out of the way.

You do not feel them ... your erection is rock hard for sure ... (can hang a bath towel on it)

So basically the ONLY difference is how your dick points. Right?

I am not sure we have enough information to draw that conclusion. The base rear tip is sufficient to establish the angle, I think. Extenders MAY increase leverage, but (again, my speculation) not change the angle, only the stability, maybe.

I suspect the angle of your erection (post-implant) is mostly, if not entirely determined by the shape and angle of the bone at the crus and how the implant sits against it.

Look up the "hinge effect". I think it might be illuminating.

My Dr. installed two different sizes. A 4cm and 1.5cm. Do the extenders come in singles or pairs? So to an 18cm tube he added 5.5cm. That's a whopping 9 inchs. How much would be in the useable portion of my dick? Anyone?
