8 Weeks Post-op - still no inflation

Howdy gents - latest update - went to doc at 5 weeks - no inflation - wanted me to heal more since he had to split me open and had to use grafting material to get the cylinders in. I also developed a blister on the glans which eventually turned into a scab and eventually came off leaving a decent sized "raw" area on the top of my glans. Went back yesterday (surgery will be 8 weeks ago tomorrow) - all healing is coming along and the "raw area" is smaller but still there. . . still have some swelling in the pubic mound where the reservoir is and around the top part of the pump in the sac. So, just to be safe, doc wants to wait 4 more weeks until the glans heals up before testing things out. . . he's afraid to put to much pressure on the glans with the sore that is there now. I won't scare anyone by posting the pics here but if you're interested I can e-mail them to you - send me a message - rglassva@verizon.net - don't say I didn't warn you! :o I forgot to ask if I could "play" with it gently without pumping. . . I may have to take matters into my own hands on that one!

I wasn't activated until week 9 because of healing issues. Like guys on here say we all heal at our own pace. I was concerned that after 6 weeks I was still in pain and discomfort and I was the exception to the rule in that I was never going to heal. It did and is continuing to get better so hang in there as I was told and soon it will be ok.

I had to wait 8 weeks as swelling and bruising was still present at 4 weeks and first visit. I went back at 8 weeks and if went very well. I suggest you go back to doctor for first inflate a release was a little harder to learn until he showed me.

Well, I've waited this long, I can wait a few more weeks, right? I was putting neosporin on the "sore" and/or folding up toilet paper and placing it on top of it but I think that made it worse as it made it sticky. Doc just said let it be so I'm letting it be. . . going commando with loose shorts/pants when I get home so it can "air out" - I think that's helping.
Thanks for the replies - glad to know I'm not in this boat alone.

Hang on there Rglassava! Awesome that the doctor feels everything is healing well, considering the surgery you went through. I bet you can barely wait to try it out though :D I guess i would be mailing you, because i am so curious as to what your results were?

Dude,
I'm praying that the worst is behind and that you'll be pumping and humping soon. Prayers.
