Can i use Lanacane First Aid spray to help w/ the pain after the surgery? I don't like taking painkillers. I would prefer a topical solution to deal w/ the pain after surgery. Anyone know if i can or can't use Lanacane? As it stops pain & can be sprayed in an open wound, I was thinking it would be good to use. Thanks.

When the hair was growing back, I used Aloe Vera with Lidocaine on my itchy balls. Cooling and soothing . :)

Lanacane is a surface anesthetic. Maybe, as you said, it can be sprayed into an open wound, I don't know, BUT if you have any open wound after implant surgery, you need to talk to the surgeon about it right this minute.

I would check with your surgeon. Mine has answered a ton of postop emails gladly and has really been helpful.

Lanocane might help some things, but will it get inside that scrotum where the incisions were made. Will it sooth the sore tissue in the penis where the implants were inserted.

I took the opioids some for the first 2-3 days and the pain wasn't all the bad. My worst discomfort was the first night with the catheter. The rest of it probably could have been handled with Advil, which helps reduce swelling too.

Still, I'd check with the surgeon. Best of luck to you.

I had infra pubic. No stitches on scrotum. Aloe with Lidocaine brought instant cooling relief. :)
