Hanging high and to the left?

I'm starting a new thread with a different approach. My surgeon put the reservoir in the left pelvic space, known as a concealed reservoir. He didn't put it in topically, he put it in deep, because he didn't want me to feel, appreciate or have any issues with the reservoir.

I have a fairly small scrotal sac. So I have been left me with a device that does not hang to the bottom of the scrotum and does hang a bit high and to the left. If you press the top of the sac at the base of the penis you can feel the deflate valve. I can still get to the valve from below and I think I'll be able to inflate/deflate, but at 3 weeks I still have a mild pain when pressure is applied to the left side, such as bending over. My surgeon says to not worry about some soreness until 4 weeks.

Do any of you guys have a similar experience? Particularly do any of you have it hanging high and to the left? I would love to hear how that is working for you. :?:

same thing with me--high and left. Are you saying the unusual reservoir placement may be causing the "high and left"? In my situation, doc has not said much as I experienced significant scrotal edema and hematoma which may have something to do with bulb displacement....don't know at this point. I am six weeks post op and the still in healing process which doc said will take long. I have no answers for this problem which I had never of before surgery. Would like to share your insights.
My next doc visit is 11/8/16. Expect to get some explanation at that time.
How are you able to locate deflate button after 3 wks? Can you fully cycle in present configuration?

I was surmising the reason the reservoir was causing the high and to the left, but I do not know that, and according to my doctor, that is not why. I am only at 3 weeks and have a little tenderness. I go for activation on November 14, so I haven't cycled at all.

I love how Kramer answers questions. He's honest and straight forward.

NOWHARD,

It is possible that Kramer may have made a mistake, but we don't know that. I'm not sure what you have against him but based your tone you do.

I don't know about rings, but he definitely stretched the scrotum during the operation. Have you seen the video? Here's the link again.

My pump is at the very bottom between the two 'boys' and my nuts are heavy, but I'll get used to it. ;) My Urologist said he used the RTE's to keep the pump low. It's easy to pump and deflate, :)

Well, this helps me tremendously. I was questioning my superstar doctor when he said that the reason my pump is a bit high is a tradeoff. In order to get it lower, he'd have had to use rear tip extenders rather than longer cylinders. Because I was very concerned to not lose length, he went with longer cylinders since extenders don't inflate and I'd have less column strength and axial rigidity. He says as long as I can get to the pump and deflate valve, he'd rather have longer cylinders.

Your comment confirms the accuracy of what he was telling me. I was starting to doubt. Bad, bad me. Good for you Rev. And thanks for commenting. :D

To update you guys on my pump apparatus being high and to the left . . .

I found that it is in the way of intercourse, so I contacted Dr. Kramer and he thinks we should do a revision that is easy to do. So, Dr. Kramer and I consulted with Dr. Knoll in Nashville and he is going to do the surgery.

Dr. Kramer had stated that I have an LGX so there is some mistake somewhere. Either I don't have an LGX or I was given the wrong card at the hospital. The model number on my card is clearly for a CX MS 18cm PS IZ with a 3cm RTE. I discussed with Dr. Knoll what to do about that, should I have the whole thing replaced with an LGX?

He stated that for treating someone with Peyronies who needed modeling, the CX is the correct choice and that in his experience the LGX did not work as well to correct Peyronies. He minimized the lengthening effect of the LGX and told me that I had plenty of length, above average and I would be fine with this CX model. He won't even use LGX on someone with Peyronies.

He examined me and definitely concurred that the pump needs to be relocated and that I should be able to run my finger completely down the left side to the base of the penis without encountering tubing, deflate button, or pump. It should feel like my right side does. I asked and he said I have plenty of room in the scrotum to relocate the pump. He says the tips of the cylinders are in perfect position.

He said there would be absolutely no problem doing a revision and that once he gets in there if needed he will replace the pump. It depends on what he finds when he opens me up.

The potentially bad news? His assistant says he has only 3 slots open the rest of the year and she would do her best to get my pre-certification pushed through and get me one of those three spots. She also said sometimes people cancel, but she would not guarantee that it will get done this year. I sure hope so though, because I've met my out-of-pocket costs for insurance this year.

One other thing he told me. You don't have to pump hard!! You should be able to pump gently without flattening the pump and when the cylinders are full, the bulb will be hard.
