Internal mild soreness

Guys,

I am at 4 weeks and will be activated in 3 days on Monday. The penis is still a little sore, but not horrible.

In the scrotum around all the hardware, particularly up at the deflate I have some minor soreness that hasn't gone away yet.

When I sit for a while and everything gets scrunched together I can tell there's soreness around the valve. When I bend over I can often feel it.

I can't really feel around there and determine exactly what is sore.

Just wondering how much internal soreness you all had around all the apparatus and how long did it take to go away.

Hi jonbaldbg, i almost at 3 weeks, ( 1 week behind you) and i have not yet experienced this soreness your referring too, i am in fact
without any feeling on the shaft below the head, kinda numb, but maybe when this numbness goes away, i may begin to feel this same
soreness your talking about , i dont know, ... has the soreness been there all along? and is it a constant pain or.. comes and goes depending on what your doing? i am feeling some kinda ouch feeling near my balls , when im doing my walks each day.. not sure,
if its the plumbing knocking into things as i walk, or not, but it just comes and goes.. and is never constant... (but is still annoying)
and im still wearing my athletic support, to keep things snug,
i hope you get some answers about your soreness from someone here, im rather interested if this will also happen to me :-)

Limpy: I'd counsel patience. At 4 weeks, you still have a lot of internal swelling and healing going on. Everyone heals at different rates, so experience of one person may not apply to another. As long as there are no signs of infection ( external swelling, redness, warm to the touch, fever, etc. I would not be worried. By three months, all my minor complaints resolved themselves. Talk with your Doc/ PA about your concerns at the activation session.
Good Luck,
Cincinnatus

Thank you cincinnatus1951, i am not experiencing any infection side effects, so i will just "hang " in there (pun intended).. and give
healing a chance..

Thanks for the info Cincinnatus. My soreness is very mild and is most likely due to having to get accustomed to having more apparatus inside me. I firmly believe this will pass. But, I do plan to ask the doc at my follow up visit on Monday. I think you are right. Everyone heals differently and everyone's experience is different.

Prior to surgery, I had several guys assure me that my scrotum would swell up like a navel orange or even like a grapefruit and it would take a couple weeks to go back down. I mentioned this to my doctor and he said, "No way. That will not happen with me." He was right. I never had any hematoma at all. None.

Limpy, your "ouch" feeling sounds normal. My soreness happens sometimes when I bend over and my clothing presses everything together, but most of it is now gone. I haven't worn a support since the third day after surgery. Just normal underwear. I've been ok with that.

So, don't expect my symptoms to be your symptoms. I think we'll all be fine. I hope your numbness problem goes away too. That would perhaps worry me more than any soreness. I'd definitely be emailing my doctor about that! Hang in there man.

Guys, here's an update on my situation. I have been to my follow up and activation with my new "local urologist" that was referred to me by Dr. Kramer. I am going to have a revision, a quick and easy surgery, done here pretty soon by Dr. Knoll in Nashville. He's also a high volume surgeon and is 20 years older than Dr. Kramer, so he has tons of experience. The two doctors are working together and agree on what needs to be done to lower and center my pump and tubing.

BUT, regarding soreness, I am now experiencing soreness in the penis mostly where the extenders sit in the glans. I suppose that is due to the fact that I'm cycling twice daily but I am paranoid and it does concern me. Dr. Kramer assures me that there is never any pain past 3 months. I'm not quite at 2 months yet, so I hope he is right.

Did any of you experience pain when you started inflating/stretching?
