This is pumped to 66 pumps and after 1 1/2 hours of modeling to try to get it as straight as possible. The frustrating part of the modeling that Dr. Lavine said to do is that you have to start all over again the next time. Straight as you can get is will not be straight the next time. Who wants to spend and hour trying to straighten your dick before sex each time? Bending it to the right to get it centered hurts. Up and down does not. Bending the penis itself to straighten the curve is quite uncomfortable but bearable. From the front it does not look too bad.
Time stamp 57 is side view taken by my wife
Time stamp 56 is my view.
If I wear briefs for a day the bend will be about 45° and it will take about 3 days of modeling to get it back to this point again. This is 10 months 6 days post implant.

66 pumps and "Modeling"... When mine works it only takes about 4-5 pumps. I've never heard of modeling. What's with the surgical scar on the head of your penis? I can see why you're disappointed.

I can sympathize with you...My first AMS 700 implant was done on 3-13-2014 and was screwed up by the doctor. I went to another doctor at UCSF and had it replaced on 10-23-2014, and the pump has never worked consistently correct. I had a week in October where every time I pumped it the dang thing it worked like it should, although sometimes it would self inflate to a soft fullness, and I though WOW maybe the pump break-in period (2 years:-\) is finally over. Now this week (11-14 thru 11/21) I can't get the dang thing to inflate at all. :-\ I've just about had it with the AMS 700...not sure if I'll go thru through a third surgery because AMS can't get their shit together.

PS: I edited this post after I did an internet search on Dr. Milam...sounds like he's pretty good.

I sure hope I don't have that experience with my AMS. I do seem to find a bit of inconsistent pumping, but in general, I get my full erection at about 15 right now, and then I wait and do another few pumps just to stretch since I'm in my first 6 months. I sure hope it doesn't quit inflating like you said. I know it has a lifetime warranty, but that doesn't pay the hospital bills and airfare, hotels, etc.

Dr. Milam has some bad press on this site and I've heard to stay away from him from other knowledgeable medical sources. So, I would stay away from him even though in general Vanderbilt has a good reputation.

Modeling is one of those things that seems to come and go in favor of doctors. I've had doctors tell me they do not do it any more and I've had doctors tell me they do not graft for peronies or curves any more. I often think we are all an experiment to see what happens given all the different views and results. You bend your crooked penis to try to stretch the short side so it is eventually even...In theory. Supposed to be better than a surgical graft. I do not think it works. some surgeons say it does, some say it doesn't. I model it every time I pump it up as instructed. After a long period of bending it opposite the bend, the bend will be less but the next time I pump it up, say morning to evening or next day, it will be bent again. I think it allows more fluid to go in the short side which holds it a little till you deflate, then next time you have to start over again.

I never heard of modeling after getting an implant. Of course, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I made my surgeon aware of my Peyronies prior to the surgery, sent him a pic, and discussed it with him the day before in the consultation.

The modeling was done by him during the surgery after the insertion of the implant. Seems to have worked. I don't know if you saw my video, but I can link to it again if you want. I also have before and after pictures.

You might consult a different doctor than your surgeon to get a second opinion. Just a thought.

Yes, I saw your video. At the time I had the thought it was likely to get things seated and settled in proper place and proportion. Milam's office witch also told me the curve is cured by modeling every time I pump it up. 10 months and I am still modeling and still bent. In my old posts you will find my wife wanted me to tape a Popsicle stick to it to try to keep it straight.

jonbaldbg, I have consulted 4 other surgeons. 1 said repair was beyond his expertise, 1 said keep modeling for a year to year and 1/2. Others said operate.
