Guidence needed What should I be "pulling down"

Postby Strickk » Fri Nov 25, 2016 7:30 pm

My Dr. Say pull down "massage" the hardware down to keep it low!!! Is that the bulb i should be maneuvering or the tubing?! I will admit I've left it alone for two days while I was swollen and it feels kinda high now like right under the base of my shaft... I'd appreciate any guidance till monday when I can call the nurse or Dr.

The pump. Just a little each day but don't worry about it. It will lower and find its place. Did you have RTEs?

The tubing is connected to the pump. Wherever you pull the pump the tubing will follow. No worries.

Now that's a very good question.., there 24 centimeters but he did not say how we got there... and and in his defense I did not ask, I should know this. You asked because I would normally feel something at the base?!

Thx!!!

No. If you had an AMX with RTEs. the pump will go to the bottom of your scrotum. The tubing is different with an AMX.

An AMS with rear tip extenders may still be too high if the implant was done infrapubicly. I think Eid and Kramer both have made it quite clear that the tubing is just too short to install that way or w/o extenders scrotal installation if you have any combined length over 16-17 centimeters. Scrotally the tubing comes straight down from the bottom of your cavernosa in the penis. Infrapubic it comes out the top side and has to wrap all the way around it to get the the same place it would exit a scrotal implant. On me inflated it would take an extra 1 1/2" of tubing to make the circuit around. Number 1 dissatisfaction with infrapubic is high pump. I am also convinced that scar tissue grows around certain areas of the tubing and the reservoir tends to "float" upward so it is very important to keep it pulled down as low as possible so your body settles and scars at the best place. Hang a tire swing from it. You will be good later at play time. d

Fortunately, mine was infra-pubic and the pump is at the very bottom but I had 18cm with 5.5 RTEs. No problems so far. Dr. did say to keep pulling the pump down.

Mine is high and to the left. Dr. Kramer says it's fine. He also instructed me to pull down twice a day. I can't really tell that it's moved at all. I have a fairly small scrotum and don't know if that had any impact. Dr. K did not use RTEs in order to avoid getting a hinge later on and to give me a stronger column and more axial rigidity. Without RTEs the pump rides higher. I think the only other option is to splice in extra tubing.

Dr. Knoll in Nashville did my activation and he didn't say anything negative about my placement. I think only time will tell.

When I pull down, I grasp above the deflate valve and pull gently on the whole thing.

That's the instructions given to me by my Dr. It's just all so new... my fear I'll pull this thing apart!!!!
