I read Medical News Today daily. Today I came across this. First I've seen it.

Breasts and Penises are not even CLOSE in structure (or function). Breasts are almost 100% fatty tissue and highly elastic. Penises are more complex structures and have certain parts that are decidedly inelastic. Just think about what it would mean if the tunica albuginea was not inelastic at its extreme. It is at the extreme expansion that the tunica quits stretching and that is the thing (and the only thing) that provides rigidity in a normally operating penis.
If the penis were made of tissues as elastic as breasts, erections would simply not occur.
Who among us would want to have their tunica removed when an implant was inserted? I can only imagine that there are good medical reasons that is not done, extreme erosion being one.

The quoted article is accompanied by a remarkable number of negative posts about implants. I have to wonder how many of them are due to unskilled/inexperienced surgeons - I'd think a great number of them are.

I agree Mr. Moore. Would be nice to know who some of these doctors to avoid were and if any of these people were able to improve their situation with help from another doctor.
