Hi Rick P here. Im not sure if Im in the right place. Anyway I am scheduled to have a penile implant in one week with a local surgeon.I'm not sure how many he has done. I now have a chance to have Dr.Kramer to do it.I just don't know when he can do it.Any suggestions should I cancel the local dr.Thanks Rick.

Not knowing who your local doctor is, or what his experience with implantation is, it's hard to say. But IMO you will never find a surgeon as skilled and compassionate as Andrew Kramer. He did mine in 2008 and still remains immediately accessible by phone and email for questions. All things being equal I'd choose Dr. Kramer over any other surgeon.

Besides his skill as a surgeon what I really appreciate about Dr. Kramer is the fact that anytime I email him he responds right away or sometimes even calls. Not that I've had any real issues but I've had questions and he always follows up quickly.

Mine was in 2008 (Titan). Had zero problems post-op, and no subsequent problems with the implant. Dr Kramer is well worth the (relatively) short drive from Pittsburgh. Let us know what you decide!

I agree 100%. I had a couple of quick questions a couple of weeks ago & he got back to me within 20 minutes. Will see him next week in Baltimore for the activation. Couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience...if your insurance/financial situation will cover Kramer, I'd go with him...based on my experience as well as others on this board, Kramer appears to be the "gold standard" at present in this field...
